Great location right in the middle of Chinatown, clean facilities and had a kitchenette in case you wanted to do some light cooking. Everything was clean and sign in was straightforward and staff were easy to speak to.

There's no reception so if you wanted to drop off luggage before check in there's no facility to do so. Room itself was a bit outdated, some of the towels were a bit worn/thin. Pillows were a little thin for me, but they provided multiple so you can stack up. Because you're right in front of the tram stop and Chinatown, you can hear some noise from downstairs but it does get quieter after 11PM.

The location was excellent. The room was within the Mantra hotel, so it is like a hotel within the hotel. Very close to transport so very convenient for a short work trip.

The key collection and having to take out your own bins into the basement when checking out is becoming a new normal, when there are appartments within a hotel. I find it a bit strange but manageable. The light rail is just outside is great, but pack your earplugs as it is inner city Sydney
