L’emplacement dans la jungle est idyllique. Idéal pour l’observation d’animaux sauvages. Amir est aux petits soins avec ses hôtes et sait véritablement faire partager la culture malaisienne sous ses différents aspects.

L’hébergement est simple, ce qui n’est pas un problème du tout mais mériterait d’être un peu plus soigné.

This accommodation is located in nature, so you'll wake up to the sounds of Mother Nature, which is fantastic. I also like that you can cook for yourself; the outdoor kitchen is well-equipped. I recommend to visit the jungle as well, tremendous experience!

The bigger supermarkets are a bit far, so you have to plan well in advance for a longer stay. I also didn't like that some people come here with high expectations. Sorry to say, but it's a simple tent. Don't expect five-star treatment, cmon..

I had an amazing time staying with Amir in the jungle. He was so welcoming and was happy to show me around engaging with the locals. It was so nice sleeping listening to the wildlife and river. Definitely recommend!

Devalley Basecamp has been our favourite accommodation we have stayed at throughout all of our travels. It is located in a very peaceful area surrounded by trees and wildlife, giving you a relaxing and peaceful break. There are several things to do in the area such as, going to a river to swim, visiting the local Warung which serves amazing food and drinks plus Hikes which were recommended to us by Amir the host. Overall it is a great place to immerse yourself into village life as the locals are super friendly and very willing to show you where they live and things they get up to.
