BGCにアクセスし易い立地にある割には安価に宿泊できた。モール等の商業施設が徒歩圏内にあるため、食事や生活の面で困る心配はなかった。
Booking.comの内見写真を見る限りは内装はきれいだが、いざ泊まってみると、設備の造りはチープで少しがっかりした。玄関の扉はボロい上に、扉の鍵がなかなかかけられなくて何度も困らされた。冷蔵庫は動いているものの、中の物が冷えるまでだいぶ時間がかかった。床は一見きれいなのだが、スリッパを履かずに裸足で過ごしていたところ、その後シャワー室で足の裏がずいぶん汚れていたことに気づいた。バルコニーもあり眺望は良いが、手すりがかなり低く、外に出るのが毎回怖かった。Netflixを視聴できるという話だったが、実際には契約が切れているためか、何も見れなかった。部屋に入室した直後に、部屋の鍵（カードキー）が室内のテーブルに置いてあると案内があったにも関わらず何も置いてなくて、仕方なく管理人に電話して問い合わせようとしたら、事情を説明している間に通話を途中で切られたのには参った。同行者の現地人にお願いして再度電話してもらってようやく話を聞いてもらえて、スタッフにカードキーを持ってきてもらえたからよかったものの、同行者がいなかったら途方に暮れていた可能性が高い。
