Taormina Mariee House

Location perfect, very clean, staff amazing

The bed was as hard as the stone floor.

The host was extremely friendly and helpful, assisting also to find fair priced transfer to the airport. Location was excellent.

Bathroom was a little uncomfortable.

The location was great. It’s in the heart of the city center, but not noisy and no steps are required to climb for access to the accommodation. You do need to walk up steps to get to the unit.

It was not user friendly. The shower was impossible to use. The shower head was loose and unmanageable. The air conditioning and refrigerator were hard to figure out. You had to move a dirty rug to pull out the washing machine to use it. If you opened the door to the balcony the handle fell off. There was a complicated way you were supposed to sort your trash. Worst of all, after traveling all day to get there I was told check in was at 15:00, so I arrived an hour before that and had to wait outside sweaty and with my luggage in the busy street only to be told at 15:00 to “be calm” because he was running a little late. He showed up 35 minutes later.
