Kiki's Sea View Open Apartment with Terrace and Jacuzzi

Kiki's Seaview Apartment is a lovely light, airy and spacious place, with a massive sun-soaked balcony, and a rooftop hot tub to boot, perfect for exploring Split without being right in the centre of the city. The open-plan apartment feels large and comfortable, with a spacious living area (and a great big TV), a big, comfy bed, well-equipped kitchen area and wet room shower area. The flat is both airy in the hot weather and cosy when it's not so nice out. It also has a fantastic view across the Adriatic to the islands - beautiful in the sunshine, and very dramatic during a big lightning storm we had while we were there. The large balcony wraps round three sides of the apartment, and comes with a table and chairs, lounge area and the aforementioned hot tub, which is the perfect place to relax after one of the many local tours. Kiki's is well-located, a five-minute walk from a great beach with nice restaurants (Gal Split does a fantastic chicken salad and lovely cocktails) as well as a couple of local supermarkets. It's also very convenient for central Split - we had a hire car, but mostly used the plentiful and cheap local taxis. Monica, the owner, is super-friendly, and very helpful with tips on where to go, local facilities, and how to use the stuff in the flat.

There's currently a bit of building work going on in the area, but that's confined to weekday working hours, when you should be out seeing the many wonderful sights of Croatia anyway. :)
