parking was easy, beds were comfortable, house was very clean and very well equipped

Good location easy to reach forest etc, locsl shops. , great hottub,easy to use

No driveway parking was OK but busy at weekend.

Stunning property in a great location! Very clean and warm, keys were very easy to access and the host was amazing and helpful, super responsive! Couldn’t recommend more! The hot tub was a great touch to the property which we all thoroughly enjoyed and made use of. The sea wall is a short walk away which is a great walk for the family!

Modern minimal recently decorated

We booked this property for our 3-night break primarily because of the hot tub; given the premium rate of £500 a night, we felt we were paying a high price specifically for this luxury amenity. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed upon arrival to find that the hot tub clearly hadn’t been prepared or cleaned for us. There was a visible scum line around the edge, the water was only half full, and there was no chlorine tablet in the dispenser. It was also switched off and completely cold, despite the expectation that it would be up to temperature for our arrival. It seems it definitely had not been checked by the cleaner who was reportedly there just before us. When we contacted you about this, we were a bit taken aback to simply be told it was an easy thing to put right ourselves. We did end up having to sort it out and refill it, which meant we had to wait until the following day before it was warm enough to actually use. We were also let down by the outside space. The garden was covered in weeds and felt unmaintained, making it an uninviting place to sit and relax. To make matters worse, when we went to use the outdoor reclining chairs, we found a pair of knickers shoved into one of the cup holders. Inside, the house was adequate for our needs and appeared tidy at first glance. However, it quickly became apparent that it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. There were cobwebs and dead spiders in the ceiling corners of every bedroom, and dead bugs trapped behind the glass splashback above the cooker. We have attached some pictures for your reference, including one of a huge, very visible dead spider on the downstairs toilet floor. It had obviously been there for quite a while, which sadly makes it clear that the room hadn’t been hoovered or properly checked before we arrived.
