Luxury Sea-View Villa with Private Pool with Diving center & Beach access

Ahmed the caretaker is a very kind individual, always willing to help although without Google translate we could hardly communicate. The water pressure was good, and air con essential , was nice to be able to use the kitchen (without stove) for making breakfast as there is only a loud fridge and water cooker in the room. Waeel the host was responsive and also always willing to assist and answer questions. Which I really appreciated. Room is spacious for solo traveller and living area huge but not welcoming. The small pool was clean the surrounding chairs a nice touch but looked very worn. Looks like the pictures..there is a TV in the room which works and has 2 English channels.

The villa is situated on a hill, Its definitely not on the beach, approx 1km walk to the beach and you can't pass through hotel which is on beachfront although you are part of the resort compound, but need to go around it.to access the ocean. Villa has piles of building material at the entrance so not welcoming. Didn't feel safe at first as there is no lock on main door. And gate is always open, wall is jump able, sliding balcony doors broken. Other people wandering in and out of the building mainly 2nd floor. A pile of dirty hotel laundry in blue sacks partly blocks Yr entrance to your space, the room is very basic like a youth dorm, hard bed and really hard pillows. Not well maintained as there are cracks on the wall, the blinds are part ly broken, curtains can't be opened. Floor tiles loose, broken cupboard door, really dusty fan and living area. ( maybe due to the construction site next door. )! There was a mix up with my dates, still don't know what happened but had arrived and had to wait an hour for them to prepare the room. The villa feels like in the middle of nowhere.. Nothing near by. Had to ask for water, toilet paper and wifi ( which he kindly provided, and didn't have to) marsa alam is 30 min away and will cost you 30dollars to get there and back. And groceries can be bought at the supermarket malikia but be prepared to be ripped off. Better take all you need with you. It's a beautiful villa just really poorly maintained and bedroom cheap inventory. Compared to the rest of the space. Couch in living room is like a folded up metallic bed, lots of cds but no TV there or stereo system in the living room. Wasn't clean and need some upkeepung. Air con in the kitchen/living room was broken so was really hot All in all a mixed bag for me as price was okish compared to surrounding hotels..
