LimeRock Inn

LimeRock Inn was one of the most pleasant surprises of our Maine trip and deserves far more attention than it gets. The location was wonderful, making it easy to explore the area while still feeling like a peaceful retreat. What stood out most was the incredible level of care and attention to detail throughout the property. Our room was beautifully appointed and felt both elegant and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it clear the owners take great pride in creating a special experience for their guests. The inn felt luxurious without ever feeling stuffy. Breakfast was equally impressive. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and presented, and you could tell a great deal of effort went into every aspect of the meal and the guest experience as a whole. This is the kind of place that makes a trip memorable. We left wishing we could have stayed longer and would gladly return on a future visit to Maine.

Breakfast was superb. The hospitality room was well stocked with drinks and snacks. The sitting room had lots of comfortable seating with books and games, if you wanted them. It was a great value in a charming neighborhood.

We loved the extraordinary full breakfasts. That was a nice treat! The staff were very helpful and attentive. The sitting parlor was large and very comfortable. The location of the hotel is in town and an easy walk to the museum and the restaurants.

Our room was charming and had a comfortable bed but the room size was small . The shower is separate from the toilet and sink area. It was cramped with the 2 of us. It would have been more comfortable for one person. There was just not a lot of floor space.
