Safe secure and good location. The team were very helpful

Good location. The entrance was inviting. All my requests were dealt with promptly. We were given fresh towels when I requested them. It was very secure and the access instructions easy to follow. We were able to leave our luggage until we were ready to go to the airport.

Best location, cosy apartment.

Amazing location in Roma norte with some of the best restaurants on the same road. Very comfortable apartment with a comfy sofa & bed,, big fridge and plenty of storage space. Kettle and freezer laundry facilities.

We stayed for 5 nights but no cleaning was provided. We would have liked clean towels and the bathroom bin to be emptied. Also temperamental hot water in the shower.

Walls are quite thin, so you can hear the neighbors slamming doors and going up and down the stairs. Messaged staff for some help about getting a ride to Teotihuacan, but never heard back.

Cute apartment with good WiFi in great Roma Norte location

Great stay — would definitely return. Lasai Casa Tonalá is in an excellent location, walkable to great restaurants and cafés, with a supermarket just a couple of blocks away. The kitchen was very well stocked, which made longer stays easy and comfortable. The staff was friendly, responsive, and quick to help with anything we needed. There’s also a convenient laundry service right next door. Wifi worked well for back to back zoom meetings. Overall, a smooth, comfortable stay in a fantastic neighborhood — I would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent location and beautiful place

The place is very well located, close to markets, restaurants, cafés, and also the метrо, which makes getting around the city easy. It is spacious and has everything needed for a longer stay. The bed is comfortable, and the environment is quiet. Access is via QR code, and I received full support from the hosts to enter the place. There is also a space to leave luggage after check-out. I would definitely stay here again.

OK but pricey

Beautiful building, great location, nice rooftop, spacious but basic apartment for the price. Didn't meet any staff so can't comment on that.

The noise from the street at night, although beyond the control of the building of course, is so loud you can't really sleep. Earplugs are provided, but thicker windows would be even better. Or book an interior apartment. Also, cleanliness wasn't the best and the 'complimentary bottles of drinking water' provided had bits floating in them :(

I’ve been in several rooms and apartments in Mexico City. This is based on my experience, of course with evidence. What is great in this place to be honest and direct, it’s the location. Prepare to climb 4 floors with several steps on the way up make it seem like more than the actual 4th floors. Indeed, others complaining that it's a high floor without an elevator is true. The apartment has its good points, but keep in mind that you'll have to navigate narrow staircases with frequent ups and downs. When you arrive at the apartment, it looks comfortable and quiet… It looks good, it has what you need, but it seems to be a building under construction or reconstruction; it needs painting (not the apartment inside but outside you clearly see it through the windows) there's noise from the morning with loud banging (construction), you can hear hammers… Forget that, it's more annoying to have tenants next door whom you can hear through the walls: movement, doors opening and closing, and laughter. The walls aren't very good, as others have mentioned in the comments. It's probably (and indeed) not the owners' fault for having noisy neighbors, and you're given instructions not to make noise after 10 pm, but we're talking about a real infrastructure problem. The building has problems to fix and should been mentioned for mutual respect. Beyond the structural issues (walls and steps), I don't think it's appropriate to leave the bathroom with a transparent view and no curtain, especially since the shower water runs down a corner of the floor. So imagine taking a shower naked and the neighbors watching, awful. I did see a person through a window and was really uncomfortable taking a shower while other people in the next building can see you if they want, I will attach a picture of the window and you can see it.

Perfect for a short stay and in between Roma/Condesa

We had a great time during our stay. The apartment was modern, simple but cozy, and very clean. The location is amazing as you're in between Roma and Condesa. We requested a short check-out, and the staff (Eumir, Mary, Montse) was very kind and supported us with it.

A wonderful apartment in a lovely location

The apartment was ideal for our two night stay. The neighbourhood is safe, with plenty of cafes, bars and supermarkets. We greatly appreciated the early check and smooth process. All the cleaning staff were very attentive and welcoming too. We visited the city park, 10 mins walk, don't miss it on a weekend, there is so much to see and enjoy.

Perfect choice

I really enjoyed my stay here! The location is excellent — right in Roma, my favorite area in Mexico City. The reception staff, Eumir, was very friendly and responsive, and the cleaning team, Mary and Montse, kept the place spotless and comfortable. Thank you all for the warm hospitality! Basic, great location.

Location was great. The area is clean, green, and full of cool cafes, bars, and restaurants. It is also quite safe. Host was responsive/helpful. It was relatively quiet.

Some of the amenities listed for the specific unit (e.g. washing machine, coffee machine) were not actually included. Fortunately, there was a laundry shop next door. Being on the ground floor, there was no real view. The blinds in the living room were not thick, so anyone could look into that room. Access to the building requires scanning a QR code for two doors. If you happen to lose your phone or have a dead battery, you are screwed. This is inconvenient and risky. The room was quite basic overall.

Great accomodation in Roma

Everything was super clean (Mary and Montse did a great job). The apartment was very comfortable with everything necessary. The Stuff was very available and quick to reply to the messages. The location is good with a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Overall my experience was really great!

The perfect hideaway in Roma Norte to enjoy the best of CDMX.

Super easy to get in and out of. The facilities are always spotless. The hosts are very accommodating via WhatsApp if you need anything. There's cafes, bus stops, a grocery store, and several delicious restaurants all within a 5 minute walking distance. I loved my stay here so much I extended it by a week!

Make sure your devices are able to show the QR code to get in! Didn't have any problems with that myself but something to be mindful of. You'll hear some of the tenants when they go up and down the stairs; you'll also see the lights go on and off when there's someone in there which can be a little startling but it's not a deal breaker.

This accommodation exceeded my expectations! Really nice and spacious apartment with fully equipped kitchen. It was really comfortable and super clean. The self check-in was very easy and convenient. Communication with the owner was effective. Great value for money. Absolutely recommended!

I had a great stay at this property in Mexico City. The location was perfect, safe, and within walking distance of great restaurants, cafés, and cultural spots. Posizione perfetta, in uno dei quartieri più belli e tranquilli di CDMX. Casa ben arredata, e risposte immediate da parte del responsabile tramite whatsapp.

Solo pochi dettagli: l’ascensore non funziona (farsi 2 o 3 piani a piedi con le valigie non è facile). Non fanno pulizie e non cambiano gli asciugamani se il soggiorno è inferiore ad una settimana.

Casa Tonalá 176, la mejor!

Para ser mi primera experiencia en México. Casa Tonalá fue increíble, supercéntrico y seguro, no hay más que pedir… de verdad si regreso (y sé que regresaré) sin duda me quedaré nuevamente aquí. Todo estaba cerca, tenía desde un supermercado, un mercado de artesanías, tacos de esquina, cafés lindis, una lavandería justo a lado y hasta tiendas internacionales cerca. Caminar sus alrededores era fantástico y TO-DO estaba cerca.

Me senti em casa.

O tamanho do apartamento é perfeito para um casal. A decoração também é super agradável. Da realmente aquela sensação de estar em casa.

A cama era muito baixa e apareceram baratas no apartamento em 2 dias diferentes. Outro ponto é que o apartamento que ficamos no térreo, as janelas eram de frente para a area comum predio, o que nao nos deixou a vontade, pois passagem pessoas.

Súper práctico en el corazón de Roma Norte

El departamento es muy cómodo. Está ubicado en planta baja, con habitación diferenciada de zona comedor/cocina, con todos los utensilios de cocina necesarios, televisor y sofa súper confortables. Súper cómoda y práctica la forma de acceso con códigos QR y código numérico en la puerta.

La ubicación es perfecta, a pasos de muchos restaurantes, cafés, tiendas, etc. La zona se siente muy segura y tranquila. Habitación muy limpia y cómoda. Tenía el tamaño perfecto para dos personas. Personal muy amable siempre comunicándose y atentos a cualquier solicitud. Lo recomiendo.

Algo que se escapa un poco de las manos del hospedaje es el hecho que justo donde está ubicado la calle está algo hundida y al llover se hizo un par de veces un enorme charco que no permitía el ingreso. Sin embargo el alojamiento colocaba ladrillos para caminar sobre ellos. Hubiese sido difícil salir o ingresar con maletas. Otro punto desfavorable es que el ascensor de equipaje no funciona actualmente y es incómodo para las personas que se hospedan en los pisos superiores.

"¡Una experiencia excelente! El alojamiento estaba impecable, muy bien ubicado y con todas las comodidades necesarias para una estancia cómoda ya sea por negocio o vienes de paseo. El personal fue muy amable, atento y respondió rápidamente a cualquier consulta. Sin duda, volvería a hospedarme aquí y lo recomiendo totalmente.
