A little off the route, but a memorable experience! Staying here feels more like being a guest in a family home than a traditional pilgrim hostel, as the family, children, and even the grandmother use the same facilities as the guests. There is a small swimming pool with cold water, which is perfect for cooling off after a long day of walking. Meals are served on-site, giving pilgrims the chance to dine together, share stories, and enjoy a friendly atmosphere. The property also offers transportation to the nearby cathedral for those who wish to attend Mass.

I don't think the staff were unfriendly, just a bit more reserved than what we experienced at many other places along the Camino. One thing to keep in mind is that the accommodation is located about 1.2 km uphill from the main route, which can feel like a long final stretch after a day of hiking.

My double room with bathroom was clean and looked renovated within the last 2 years or so. Host was wonderful and warm, the beef cheeks in red wine with potatoes I had for dinner (optional at extra cost) was yummy and the breakfast spread was generous (including freshly squeezed orange juice).

A little out of town but worth it. The windows could do with a flyscreen - I didn’t realise how many flies there were so spent quite a bit of time killing those that got in.

Sin duda la máxima puntuación se la llevan los dueños, son maravillosos, súper cercanos, amables y nos hicieron sentir como en casa. La ubicación para nosotras maravillosa porque no íbamos haciendo el camino, entiendo que quizá haya gente que le parezca que está alejado pero los dueños por lo que hemos podido leer, se ofrecen hasta a recogerte en el pueblo. Lo dicho anteriormente, son súper amables y muy buena gente. Quien busque un lugar para alojarse haciendo el camino, este sitio sin duda es de 10. Nosotras igualmente también estuvimos muy agusto. Te preparan ellos también el desayuno y dejan bastantes cosas a tu disposición como cafetera y demás para que utilices cuando quieras. Tema aparcamiento, hay unos cuantos fuera, no hay parking como tal (cosa que es entendible porque la gente va andando) pero incluso los dueños se ofrecieron a dejarnos su aparcamiento para que metiéramos nuestro coche.

Voy a recalcar, que nosotras sabíamos donde íbamos, íbamos a un albergue en el que iban a llegar peregrinos de todas partes, pero nos gustó el lugar y quisimos alojarnos allí. Lo que comentaré ahora son cosas que no dependen de los dueños y que también nosotras sabíamos que podían pasar. Por allí pasa gente de todos lados y mucha es respetuosa y otra no, en este caso no sabemos cuál es el horario de descanso que debe respetarse pero sobre las 11 de la noche pasadas que queríamos ya descansar, habían unas cuantas personas en el comedor hablando muy fuerte y sin respetar el descanso de los demás. Con esto simplemente quiero crear conciencia de la importancia de no hacer lo que no nos gustarían que nos hicieran, nosotras no íbamos a hacer el camino y sin embargo evitamos hacer ruido y molestar porque sabíamos que la gente necesitaba descansar y por el contrario recibimos eso de los demás, enfin.

The individual queen room was nice and very cute place with character.

The directions for curfew were not clear. Written in Spanish hidden behind door. Wasn't able to communicate in English anyone. Only place to eat is about a 20 minute walk. We had to get yelled at and lectured for coming in late and almost not let into the place late at night. Very very bad service. They need some code for people to let themselves in.
