Our family had our 1st ever reunion over July 4th and we had a wonderful time. There was a total of 16 of us and the house was perfectly suited for all of us. It was comfortable and clean. Beautiful views from the window. Kelley was fantastic with communication.

Wonderful place to relax in a quiet, wooded setting. Plenty of room for several guests or a family to sleep, spread out for different activities and come together for meals, etc. Our host was easy to contact, checked in us during the stay and answered questions as needed.

Really enjoyed this stay, needed more than two nights to tour Black Mountain to Asheville breweries. Will try later this year. A comfortable stay in this well appointed property.

Our large family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was spacious, well‑stocked, and better equipped for a big group than any vacation rental we’ve used. The Black Mountain/Asheville area was also wonderful, with plenty of family‑friendly activities and incredible food.There are a few things about the home that future guests should be aware of. The common‑area furniture is quite worn and not very comfortable. The deck is fairly narrow, and the railing didn’t feel stable. The screened porch appeared not to have been cleaned in some time, and the main oven struggled to hold temperature. While the main‑floor bedrooms were very nice, the lower‑level bedrooms felt cramped and a bit stale. The lower‑level family‑room TV had no power, and one of the bedroom TVs had no remote, which was disappointing since we needed the extra space.The garage door also wouldn’t close. The owner mentioned it was scheduled for repair, but it was still concerning given the local wildlife and the lack of a secure place to store trash between dumpster runs.Overall, we truly did enjoy our stay, but we all left feeling that the property could benefit from a refresh and a few important repairs.
