Come check us out! Come get away for the weekend with your friends and family! If you have a larger group and are interested in this property, please don’t hesitate to send us an inquiry! Or just book it now! Come celebrate your birthday or throw a Christmas party with your family and friends! We decorate for the holidays! Plenty to do in the winter months! If you are looking for a property with privacy and a ton of amenities to keep your guests happy YEAR ROUND then this is it! We have a private pool, private 7 person hot tub, 75ft covered back patio with LED lights, pool table, air hockey table, darts, cornhole, poker table, full bar area, Large Smart TVs, fenced area for dogs and small children, board games, movies and more! We are also only 10 minutes from the lake and public boat ramp.
Please note our Pool is seasonal and is closed October-March. We open the pool in April pending air and water temps and will close the pool in September towards the end of the month pending air and water temps. Out Hot tub is open year round!
We host groups of all sizes and specialize in large groups with sleeping up to 31 in beds with addition of the Bunkhouse. Family reunions, birthdays, corporate events, girls/guys weekends- you name it. Private setting with lots of trees and room to spread out with good onsite parking.
Our number one goal in providing this property for vacation rental purposes is for ALL families and friends to be able to afford a communal place to get together and create memories. This property is best for larger groups (15+) and is priced accordingly. In order to keep our prices as low as possible, all we ask is for you take care of the property during your stay.
*Please Note the main house sleeps 14 guests and the BUNKHOUSE is NOT included with groups of 14 or less. For groups with more than 14 the bunkhouse is included in paying the extra guest fee. If you have less than 14 guests and need the bunkhouse for separate bed space it is a $150 fee to have it cleaned and prepped.*
We are OPEN 365 days a year and there is PLENTY TO DO YEAR ROUND.

PLEASE SEND AN INQUIRY ONLINE PRIOR TO CALLING US (This is the most efficient way to get a proper and direct quote) DO NOT include children 5 and under in your inquiry- we do not charge for them- but please let us know they will be attending so that we can make sure you have enough bed space!
BUNKHOUSE: It has 5 bunks, and a pull out queen sofa, sleeping an additional 17 guests (bringing the house total to 31 in beds), a sofa, a mini-fridge, and a brand new 65" flat screen with DVD, AS WELL AS TWO BATHROOMS. For groups of more than 14 the bunkhouse is included already in the extra guest fee. The bunks are set up to be used as seating as well as sleeping spaces. It is great for kids and adults alike. We have used it for movie night and also for the kids to feel like their stay is a big sleep over. If you have a large family party, the kids will be well entertained watching their movies or playing their game console games while the adults have use of the main tv in the house.***
^^ also please note that we do keep count of the number of guests- and we do charge $25 per person, per night for more than 10 guests- let’s all be fair in this. It will auto calculate the total for you up to 31 guests. We keep pricing at a minimum already so that everyone can afford to celebrate. We do charge a small fee for day guests and event guests who leave after the event.
This is a country home and internet speeds and cell phone reception are not guaranteed to be fast or reliable for heavy use.
GENERAL PROPERTY INFO:
We have a five acre property which is mostly wooded and is secluded. One story house with 6 bedrooms (one king, three queens, two full/twin bunks) 3,600 sf and three full baths/ four showers.
***This property is only 8 min from the public boat ramp on the lake, right next to the boat rentals (FISHING!)
^^^one person must be 21 or older to rent^^^
In order to reserve and hold your dates, you must pay FIRST PAYMENT.
GAMEROOM: pool, darts, TV, poker table, 15ft marble counter with full bar, multiple card and board games, stereo, refrigerator, all bar utensils, blender, poker chips, ping pong table, beer pong table
Living room: 55" high def flat screen, full wood fireplace, large dvd collection, full cable
Patio: 78ft covered, 7 person hot tub, gas/charc grill, fully furnished, coolers, card table, LED lights, above ground moveable fire pit and seating
Backyard: large area chain fenced for pets/ horseshoes/ corn hole/bird feeders
Outside of fence: 24ft above ground pool (sunken 2.5ft) with HUGE deck and floats, full sized fire pit with seating
Large kitchen: full size microwave, gas stove, oven, dishwasher, double sink, refrigerator, island counter space, high def tv, stereo, dining table with seating for 14 plus 4 bar seats, coffee maker, crock pot, all cooking/eating utensils/glasses/tableware, granite counter tops
Parking: park anywhere in front. Can fit about 20 cars.
***we provide all linens and towels. We provide two pillows per person. There is shampoo, conditioner and body wash in each shower.***

***please use toilet paper that is provided as we are on a septic tank! Please do not flush any feminine products***
1. Smoking is outside only; we provide many ash trays***
2. You will be charged for unauthorized guests.
3. NO GLITTER/ CONFETTI
4. DO NOT flush feminine products or ANY type of Baby wipes. We are on a Septic System and we do provide septic safe toilet paper.
Grocery store, gas stations, restaurants, brewery, liquor store about 8 minutes from the house. The lake is about 10 min, and that is to the public boat ramp with fishing pier.

We enjoyed our Christmas spent in Kemp. Very comfortable home with plenty of room for everyone. Excluding a large yard for our puppies. Host was very friendly and helpful.

The home was beautiful!! Plenty of room for us all!! We enjoyed teaching our grandkids how to shoot pool. The spacious kitchen, the hot tub!! The friendly black dog that visited us daily. Everything was perfect!! Highly recommend and will definitely stay again. The host was friendly and quick to respond. Very helpful and answered all our questions!

Worked out great for our Youth event, plenty of space for indoor and outdoor activities. We were able to easily fit everyone in the common areas, and the bunkhouse made it accommodating for splitting up the guys and girls at night. Phone service and internet were difficult in this area, but those who had AT&T were able to make calls and use data. There are dogs running around the area, so be mindful of that.

First let me say that we had a great time and there were a lot of things great with the property. Wonderful lay out of the house. Loved the kitchen. Great outdoor space. There were a few issue that I think renters should be aware of. Not to change them from renting this property but just so they aren’t blindsided. It appears that one of the AC units has had problems for quite some time, so there are 5 window units that are used to cool 5 of the bedrooms, living, and kitchen/dining areas. The one unit was not working when we arrived. They worked on the AC for 2 days but after that nobody else came out. The window units will keep the house fairly cool and we just took advantage of the pool during the afternoon. You cannot run any appliance in the kitchen with the window unit running. It will flip the breaker. The breaker had been flipped so much it was loose. Be careful. We notified Trent on all these issues. He did send an electrician out but it was not fixed. After 2 days of waiting on service people and texting Trent we gave up and just decided to make do. We have rented properties for the last 13 years and sometimes there are issue. Again, we enjoyed the property and hope the owners will use this review to improve the property. Great memories were made and we have no regrets about renting this property. On a side note, we did not ask for compensation from the owner and none was given
