The Blue Moon House has 5 bedrooms, each with a private bath, plus kitchen, dining and living area.

The 5 bedrooms each with thirr own bathroom was great. Kitchen had slmodt everything needed. Coffee pot & TV directions would be helpful.

This property surpassed our expectations. It was close enough to downtown that we walked everywhere, it was spacious (there were 8 of us) allowing everyone to feel comfortable. There was a lovely patio out back where we spent a lot of our time. We also perused through the scrapbook of them restoring the house and were shocked at the change. This place is a beautiful piece of history that helped create lifelong memories for our family.

This was a very charming home full of history. It was perfect for two families. The kitchen was the bomb! It was great to have a bathroom in every bedroom. It's walking distance to downtown. I highly recommend The Blue Moon House.

Here are the positives: Valisatie, the host, was very easy to communicate with and responded to all our needs as soon as she could. She was really good. The location is great, within walking distance to downtown and not far from the Food Co-op. A nice little city park was just down the block and another one was nearby. I would have given this home a higher rating but there were also some major problems. The heat went out all afternoon one day so the December cold made the house uncomfortable until the heat was fixed. That same day and all the next day the internet went out so there was no WiFi and no TV. It was not fixed before we left even though Valisatie tried to get it to happen. Also, blinds in the two downstairs bedrooms were broken and on one window we had to tie a blanket on sconce holders to provide necessary privacy. Finally, the weirdest thing was around 11pm when it was raining one night a window in its frame fell into the bedroom at the top of the stairs. Fortunately our daughter was in there with her two kids or they would have been very scared. The window had been duct taped in place!! But that was hidden by window curtains until the window fell into the room. Clearly, the owner of the house needs to do several repairs and updates.
