Neighborhood located on the seafront, with its many bars, restaurants, and its daily fish market very famous throughout the Algarve. The market is very close, you will have the privilege of getting there on foot in two minutes. Parking is free on the street, you can forget your car for a stay, change of pace. As we will succumb to the sweetness of life in Olhão, you will come back!
You will spend unforgettable moments on the large panoramic terrace with a 360° view. It is a living room in its own right that is very popular at any time of the day. It is equipped with a sliding pergolas, a kitchen with gas plancha, sink, refrigerator, cooking domino, crockery. It is a summary of everything you need to prepare meals outdoors, with friends or family.
Fishing is the main economic activity of this small town that has been able to go through the decades without losing its soul. The welcoming Portuguese population is very present. We do not meet among Northern Europeans as is often the case in many cities of the Western Algarve.

Called a cubist city because of its Moorish architecture, Olhão is in the heart of the Ria Formosa Natural Park, which gives it charm and authenticity. The Ria Formosa, one of the five most popular sites in Portugal, can be visited on foot, by bike or by boat.

It is also the departure point of the ferry to the sublime sandy beaches of Armona, Culatra & Farol. The pier is 200m from the recognizable market, anchored on the edge of the lagoon like a red brick vessel.

With 150m², this completely renovated former fisherman's house can comfortably accommodate 4 people. Not suitable for children under 10 years old. Pets are not allowed. Totally non-smoking house.
