Porto Premium River View I

Rented the place because of the view over the river and proximity to riverside restaurants. Great location although not easy for cabs to get to, so had to schlep heavy bags a few hundred feet and up one story. Bed was comfy and TV had cable so we got to watch some Portuguese TV on a rainy night.

Spacious apartment perfected situated to explore Porto with stunning views directly on the river. A couple of issues with entry and the TV set up were quickly resolved after a call to the hosts.

Great place to stay, right on the river and in a fun, safe part of town. Apartment was precisely as expected from pictures. The kitchen is very well equipped. Check-in was handled very efficiently and they arranged an airport transfer for us. There is one flight of stairs up to apartment. We really enjoyed our 3 weeks here. There was some outside noise in the afternoon and evening because the apartment is located over a restaurant. On Jan 22nd, noisy renovations started on the first floor during day time hours. We'ld be delighted to return here

The check in was self service. Never met anyone to explain the apartment. Got the code to the door after we had stood outside by MacDonalds for over 2 hours. The stairs leading into the building were dark and very smelly. There are lights but very dim. Be sure and bring your own coffee. We had asked about coffee when we booked and were told there would be some for us to use. There were 2 pods for the 2 of us for 5 nights. When I contacted the property manager I was told that the 2 pods were a welcome gift. Location was nice and view was good from the main room only. There is no balcony as described in the listing. Sorry to say, this apartment is nothing special.
