Luxury Vacation Condo in the Heart of Friday Harbor - with EV charger!

What a delightful place to stay in Friday Harbor.

Cute place in a great location! The parking spot alone is incredibly valuable, especially on a busy weekend. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay again.

Perfect location! We originally booked for 5 people (2 parents, 2 kids, and one grandfather) and thought the 3 bedrooms would be just perfect. Granddad didn't end up coming with us. We used the 3rd bedroom (with the bunk beds) as an office, as my husband had to work and I had Zoom meetings. It was nice to be able to shut the door and be "away" from everyone.It was walking distance to everything - the SJ Island Brewery, the Whale Museum, Whale Watch boat, and the ferry. Grocery store just across the street (as well as restaurants, ice cream and coffee shops, etc.) Such a charming downtown. Great to have the parking spot, too. I wish we had at least 1-2 more days to spend on the island... We arrived Wed evening, spent Thursday driving around to all the beaches and other historical sites, did the Whale Museum Friday morning, whale watch cruise Friday afternoon, brewery Friday night. Packed up Sat morning, and took the noon ferry. If you are new to San Juan Island, I would recommend at least 3 full days.This apartment had everything we needed - big enough, but not too big. The only challenge was getting our heavy suitcases up the back stairs, which are a little narrow/uneven (fine for everyday up and down, just hard with our suitcases.) We drove around to the front entrance and brought them up/down that way. Plenty of blankets, pillows, towels, etc.

Came to beautiful Friday Harbour to do bioluminescence tour. When 4:00pm came to access VRBO, a four digit code was not provided. I contacted the individual by email, text and via VRBO at 4:17. No response until 5:15 when I received a text telling me “the code was provided in an email. You should read it.” And the. Told me to use number I had already tried. Attempted to explain but in visual texting was impatient and concerned that they could not locate me in front or back of property. Explained that they took an hour to respond and I was at dinner and would try the new code on our arrival. I so t appreciate being condescended to by an individual on a business transaction. There was not reason to be rude or demeaning. I paid peak price for this rental . Place was great but does not make up for attitude l of renter. I paid to have access to property at 4:00 and it was not my fault that the code she supplied was not working.
