Enjoy your relaxing mountain getaway at our beautiful mountain home in Florissant, CO 🌄- perfect for a couple looking for a cozy romantic getaway ❤️❤️❤️ or gatherings of 8-10 friends and family! This secluded home sits nestled in the side of a hill on 3 acres of land, surrounded by aspens and pine trees, overlooking the Florissant Heights valley near Crystal Peak Mountain and with views of Pikes Peak! The enormous wall of 10 windows leading gives a 28' tall panoramic view of nature surrounding the home. The wood cladded vaulted ceiling in the living room provide a grand open space to relax. There's a hot tub that fits 6-8 on the 1300 sqft of deck wrapping around 3 sides of the home. A grill for barbecuing and seating all around allow for outdoor entertaining and fun on a beautiful summer evening. 1100 sqft of patio is perfect for lawn games such as giant jenga, beanbag toss (cornhole), and more! There's even a tire swing and a hammock for relaxation! While you can't see them from inside the home, in the hot tub, or on the deck/patio, full-time neighbors live across the road and just down the way. So while it's secluded, you don't have to worry about being isolated. Inside you'll find the master bedroom loft overlooking the living room and amazing mountain views as you open your eyes in the mornings. ☀️There's a wood burning fireplace to cozy up to on cold winter nights ❄️⛄️ and we have a TV with DISH satellite coverage, a 💿 DVD player and VCR for watching a big selection of movies, and even an original NES 🎮!!
For those looking for cell phone coverage this is the spot as we get coverage with most major cell phone carriers (Verizon works the best, AT&T not so much). The fully stocked kitchen is plenty big to work together preparing meals and the dedicated dining room has seating for everyone to sit together and enjoy the home cooked meal. Plus we've stocked board games ♟🎲 and some books 📕📗📘, as well as a pool table 🎱 in the basement for more indoor entertainment. You're only about 25 miles away from Woodland Park and around 15 min away from groceries🍎🥑🌽🍅🥕🥚🥓🥞🥩, liquor store🍺, dining, etc. There's tons of hiking trails, state parks, and the Wolf Sanctuary (🐺the wolf encounter is an experience you'll talk about for years🐺) all nearby. Cripple Creek is not far for casino gambling and you're about 90 minutes away from Breckenridge for skiing. 11 mile reservoir is only about 30 minutes away for fishing and boating. And there's even the North Pole🎅(amusement park), Pikes Peak, white water rafting, ATV rentals, horseback riding🐎, fossil beds, a Dinosaur museum, great local breweries🍺, multiple golf courses⛳️, zip-line courses, Cave of the Winds, Garden of the Gods and much more, ALL just a short drive away. Or, stick around the cabin for some seclusion and good, old fashioned, family time! (If you want me to turn off the internet for your stay, I will 😉 haha 😀) This is the perfect place to come enjoy a relaxing time in the mountains of Colorado! 🌄🌄🌄
COVID-19: 😷 Since COVID is not going away, we are taking precautions to ensure the house is thoroughly sanitized and clean between guests. Of course, as with anytime you go outside theses days, there are risks of getting sick and there's no way for us to guarantee a "hospital operating room" level of sterile for your stay. However, we have our cleaner following the CDC's recommendations for cleaning and disinfecting the property. She's doing wipe downs of surfaces (e.g. tables, hard-backed chairs, doorknobs, light switches, remotes, handles, desks, toilets, sinks) with disinfectant, deep cleaning the sheets, towels, and doing everything within reason we can do to ensure our guests are safe. Please consider getting trip protection insurance to protect yourself in case of a need to cancel. There are trip insurances out there that will cover you for any reason, including COVID-19 related reasons.
Note that there are exterior cameras around the property to watch out for animal life and for security. They do not overlook the hot tub or any other private areas. For guest privacy, there are no cameras on the inside of the property. However there are some motion and temperature sensors, door sensors, and smart smoke alarms for security, safety, and temperature controls and automations.

This is an absolutely gorgeous house with incredible views and really nice amenities. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing we would say is the interior needs a bit of an update, and the photos make the apartment look nicer than it actually is in real life. Don’t get me wrong, it’s incredible, but some of the furnishings feel a bit old. Highly recommended, would stay again.

The house location (away from crowds) was excellent. Conrad (the host) was very quick to answer any questions we had and was very positive in his responses. We would readily stay there again based on location, host, and overall quality of the house!

We booked this cabin for a 70th birthday gathering for my family, including grandparents, parents, and multiple grandkids, and while the property and location are absolutely beautiful, there were number of things that marred our trip and overall experience. The water stopped functioning twice during our stay and we had to fix it, the front door lock malfunctioned and kept us outside with babies at one point, and the trash was not collected due to delinquent payment notice. There were unsafe items, particularly for kids that needed maintenance, like sharp broken tiles, glass and exposed nails. There were glaring oversights, like exposed metal bed frames in the kids bedroom, and dirty carpets. To Conrad's credit, he talked us through the water problem remotely, and was responsive to us when we reached out, but there were recurrent issues with the cabin, and the stay. The location is absolutely beautiful, the cabin was the perfect size for our group, but ultimately there are things the owner needs to attend to.
