Shorhaus, Gorgeous Main Body Lake Retreat

This was the perfect property for our family weekend to celebrate a family friends’s wedding. It’s quiet and peaceful on the lake. The hosts have provided many games to enjoy, and equipment for the lake. The hosts were always quick to respond if we had questions.

It was a beautiful place to stay. We had a wonderful relaxing time. The view was amazing. Every night we had nice sunsets. The house was close to town so it wasn't hard to run to the store for necessary supplies. It was a great place to stay.

Hosts were incredibly thoughtful in preparing for our stay. They left a welcome gift with snacks, branded koozies, coffee pods, and a branded insulated lunch bag. There was a JBL Bluetooth speaker available for our use, which we made great use of. Paddle boards and kayaks were a ton of fun and we enjoyed a cornhole tournament with our group using their equipment. The home was comfy and beautiful with plenty of space for everyone. Kitchen was AMAZING!!! Awesome pots and pans, a crock pot, kitchenaid mixer and everything your could possibly need. A couple of things that were not great, but not the fault of our host or the home: there is a dog next door that came out every morning at 6 am and barked nonstop for 20-30 minutes. Bring a nice white noise machine or earplugs and you wont notice.We laid a mat across the small step from the kitchen into the garage-side bedroom. It’s hard to see so a couple of us tripped. Easily remedied with the mat we used!No Kleenexes so we had to use toilet tissue for runny noses, but that worked just fine. If you’re picky about tissues, bring some with you!

Your home was exceptional and had so many amenities that my family had so much fun.Celebrating my wife's birthday there could not have been any better.The weather was beautiful so my boys got to take out the kayaks and we even had a cornhole tournament! Your home is so beautiful and appreciate your hospitality.
