Akala Villa is a private riverfront residence offering absolute perfection in holiday accommodation in this fascinating destination in exotic Vietnam.
Designed by the pre-eminent MM++ Architects, crafted and built by local artisans, Akala Villa showcases modern, sleek, luxurious design balanced with relaxing, welcoming spaces where indoor and outdoor merges and flows seamlessly to capture the beauty of the flowing river and tropical vista.

The sprawling residence offers the ideal venue for family and friends to reunite for vacations to create lasting and beautiful memories together in spectacular surrounds or for management teams to retreat within this world class accommodation with qualified and professional staff to attend to your holiday needs.
Set on the bank of Thu Bon river, within the lush green hamlet of Cam Thanh, and an easy 3km ride from the ancient old town Hội An, Akala Villa reflects the serenity of its unique locale, subtly framing the riverfront setting and providing sweeping views of the river and countryside from most rooms.
Cam Thanh is very much a village where locals still live, work and farm. Guests can stroll around the nearby rice fields whilst soaking in the rural vistas and the river life along the Thu Bon river which offers a unique window into the lives of local fishermen and on-river activities.
Akala Villa has something on offer for everyone where you can choose to be as relaxed or as busy as you wish to be immersing yourself into the local surrounds.
Akala Villa itself is built in natural materials of timber, stone and glass and features 6 spacious and luxurious bedrooms, multi-space living and dining areas, a chef’s kitchen, barbecue, an alfresco dining area and a 17 meter swimming pool fringed with a lush tropical garden.
Within the villa itself, guests can choose to lounge by the pool taking in the gloriousness of the Thu Bon river, converse with your fellow guests in one of the comfortable lounge areas, read a book in solitude in one of the 6 spacious bedrooms or on the verandah, book and enjoy a relaxing in house massage and generally soak in their relaxing surrounds.

We had an amazing stay, the staff put on an amazing breakfast each day. Nhu Nhu was incredibly helpful with recommendations and bookings of restaurants. The villa was beautiful and had so much space for our group of 10.

This property is beyond belief. It is architecturally stunning, very spacious and in the perfect location. A short bike ride (on great bikes provided by the host) into old town, it’s also peaceful and quiet. It was an absolute perfect stay. The host and her team are incredible. We would stay here again and again. Could not recommend more.

Akala Villa was the best , we could not fault this experience at all , full credit to the Host and and lovely staff who made our holiday a memorable one. My family and friends will be back for our next Hoi An getaway,
