About this cabin rental
This 2 bedroom one bath cabin is located on the beautiful Lake Nahwatzel in Mason County. Lake Nahwatzel is one of the warmest lakes in western Washington due to the fact that it is partially fed by hot springs, and it is also opened to fishing year-round. This lake is considered to be one of the best bass-fishing lakes in western Washington during the summer months and is also stocked twice a year with rainbow trout. You can ski, jet ski, swim, boat and fish on this lake! This cabin is the perfect place to get away from the cares of the world, relax on the expansive deck, or sit on the private dock with your feet in the warm water. The vintage feel and decor of "Grampy's Cabin" is welcoming, and takes you back to the days of old, less worry and more fishing! Public boat launch is just past the cabin on the right - convenient for your water toys. There is one bedroom on the main level, and the loft above has 2 additional beds. The cabin is stocked with the necessities you will need, and a comfortable place to settle in. Fresh water is pumped into the home from the bottom of the lake for use in the sinks and bathroom, however it is not certified for drinking. Guests are asked to please bring their own drinking water. The home has wifi and a smart TV for streaming your favorite shows on your own account - and is ready for your visit! Come and experience The Cabin on Lake Nahwatzel! Beautiful location and funky but fun and comfortable old cabin. Dock access to the lake is awesome for swimming and boating if you bring your own gear. We brought two inflatable stand up paddle boards and it worked out great.Kitchen is well enough equipped, standard stuff for a rental, nothing fancy but functional. Electric grill on the deck worked better than I thought it might at first glance.Kim was super helpful and very responsive to any and all questions before and during our stay.No potable water is a bit of a hassle but plan ahead and bring plenty for cooking and drinking and tooth brushing etc.Will definitely stay here again!

Our stay was fantastic! We had some rain, but it didn’t stop the fun! Cabin is adorable. I love Lake Nahwatzel as we had a cabin there in the 60-70s. I will be back! Kim, the host was always available! Thank you!!!!!

Stayed at this cabin with my wife and 5 year old daughter for our summer vacation. This was our second trip to Lake Nahwatzel and some how was even better than the first! The cabin is perfect! I said it perfect! From the moment I reached out to the property manager ( Kim) to the very last minute at the house as my daughter sat on the stairs crying " daddy I dont wanna leave!" Kim was great, very promt, informative and kind. I really appreciated that. So thank you Kim! the cabin is just that a cabin, until you arrive and realize its really just a slice of heaven that the owners are kind enough to share. It had everything you needed for a week. Pots, pans, cooking utensils, grill, outside seating you name it. it does not have a dishwasher, washer or dryer and the water is not drinkable.... If those things are a deal breaker then maybe this is not for you. But for my family it was everything we wanted and more. The lake if you have not been, is beautiful, maybe the best in the state. Clean, warm and just beautiful. My daughter swam, played and fished until she passed out! Only to do it again the next day. Do your self and your family a favor and book now, its worth every penny.
