About this cabin rental
Cabins@Creekside are on a beautiful mountain meadow with Spring Creek running along the property. Ponderosa Place offers two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, livingroom area with a sofa sleeper, & children's loft area, along with 2 full bathrooms, full kitchen, private deck, & BBQ grill. Sleeps 6-8 with the loft area. Many of the major attractions in the Black Hills, including Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, and Custer State Park are less than 15 miles from this location making it a perfect place to base out of. Dairy Twist, a locals favorite diner, is also on the property providing you with great options for lunch and dinner along with ice cream! These are all family owned/operated businesses with 3 generations working to make it happen. We also have ATV/UTV rentals available as an option through our other business, Black Hills Wilderness Edge Adventures. Don't just see the Black Hills, experience them. Very clean, family owned. Loved that we could drink our coffee on the deck in the morning looking at the black hills. Dairy twist also run by the same family, always a busy place. Great to have a place we could have lunch or a snack. They only take cash though. We will be back. Centrally located between Keystone and Rapid city.

Cabin was very clean. Good location. The boys really enjoyed the ice cream shop right by the cabins.

It was cozy and very clean. We were not in the cabin very much as we were about the hills.

The property was accurate as described on VRBO. Very small kitchen which I knew by the pictures. If you plan to cook just be aware of that. Twice we saw mice running in the unit. My grandson was pretty freaked out but we only had one night left to stay. They did have a mouse trap in the bottom of 1 cupboard. Location was good as far as access to Mount Rushmore and Custer SP. We have stayed in many VRBO's over the years and many in very remote areas and this was our 1st time encountering a mouse issue.
