About this apartment rental

Apartment with a large, sunny balcony and a fireplace. Spacious grounds featuring a vineyard, meadow, and riparian forest, as well as a dock on the Havel River.

ACCOMMODATIONS
On the upper floor of the Turmvilla is an apartment with high ceilings. A wide balcony invites you to spend many sunny hours there, looking out onto the garden and the Havel River. One bedroom opens onto this balcony and features a double bed. A second room overlooks the church and has two single beds.
The wood-burning stove is available for use during cooler seasons and supplements the conventional heating system. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, sink, bathtub, and towel warmer.
The decor is kept minimal and cozy—this allows the historic architecture, carefully selected furniture, and garden views to take center stage.

SURROUNDINGS
The Turmvilla and Remise vacation homes are located on the historic island in the town of Werder. They are nestled within a spacious garden. A path winds past the “Belvedere” tea house, through the vineyard, past the plum tree, and out onto the large meadow. It continues through the floodplain forest and through the reeds until it reaches the Havel River. The water at the dock is only a few centimeters deep, making it ideal for small children or as a starting point for a SUP or canoe tour.
At the Belvedere, books and wine are available for relaxing moments, and from its terrace, you have a great view of the property with its old trees and vineyards, which are tended by hand using organic methods.
On the meadow stands the wine house, where the harvest is gathered, processed, stored, and bottled.
The town of Werder offers a good selection of shops, bakeries, and ice cream parlors. There are small, charming cafés and stores, a pizzeria and restaurant, playgrounds, and grassy areas by the water. You can take a lovely walk on and around the island.
A short ride on the regional train will take you to Brandenburg, Potsdam, and Berlin. You can also set out on beautiful bike routes right from your vacation rental.
