completely renovated stone house with a terrace on the ground floor of 30 m2 and a balcony on the 1st floor.

location: in a small traditional mountain village in the Oisans massif (altitude 1500) located on GR 54, last step before the Emparis plateau.
Ideal departure to reach ALPES D'HUEZ via the SARRENE pass.

The property is set in a high mountain top location, so if you don't mind either jumping on your bike or driving your car to get to civilisation then no problem. Whilst here are a few restaurants nearby, they we're not over helpful when it came to either getting a meal or booking one unfortunately? The property itself is lovely, very homely and if like us your into your cycling then you are set for one fair trip everyday. The property had plenty of living space for everyone to use. Would I recommend it, certainly would. It's certainly "out there" if you want to get away from the world for a period of time then this is your stop!

No real luxuries but exactly what was advertised, in a lovely little village high up in the Alps, miles from anywhere, good retreat for hiking / cycling. Owner helpful and accommodating

Georgette is an excellent host. She met us in the village of Besse and took us to the property which was charming and a lot more spacious then shown in her photos on HomeAway. The kitchen was very well equipped and the property was so well located that we also ate out 2 nights in the very friendly local restaurant. We did brilliant walks from the house and Georgette also gave us some good recommendations. She also kindly let us not worry about a strict check out time on our last day which we were very grateful for. Overall - the stay was excellent. My two sons were wanting wifi - but we could access it from the Tourist Office or the restaurant. Thanks again Georgette
