The location is idyllic! The view is astounding! The village is captivating and takes you back in time. The cottage is cute! Getting to the village is an adventure and there’s nothing close by. If you want to retreat back to nature, this is the spot!

This charming house has good kitchen facilities - ideal for those who love to cook and enjoy good food. The location is very quiet and excellent for recharging the batteries and switching off from business. The sleep quality is also incredibly good. The bed is very comfortable and large. We recovered excellently within a very short time in the midst of the beautiful mountain landscape and the crystal clear air. We will definitely be back.

What a beautiful little village. Population of about 60 but we only saw 3-4 other people. So quiet and peaceful with lots of very old buildings to explore. You can order food to La Mairie so could stay there for a week without even leaving the village. There are lots of signposted walks in the surrounding country with some good steep climbs and gentler ones too. There is surrounding farmland to explore with donkeys and horses and a big allotment to have a nose around too. There's also the L'Esteron river at the base of the village which is beautiful. The house itself was great with all mod cons except washing machine. The views from the house and the fantastic terrace were picture perfect. I imagine if it was warmer then all the time would be spent on the terrace. A lovely spot and we will love to visit again.

Greetings from Estonia We spent our honeymoon in this lovely little house situated in the village of Gars. Enjoyed breathtaking mountain views, romantic walks in beautiful nature and hospitality of locals. We also made lot of trips to great places not far from Gars like Grasse, Saint-Tropez, Cannes and Nice travelling only by mountain roads to enjoy all the beauty that Provence can offer. This was truly the best honeymoon we could wish for. With best wishes and hope to be back, Villu and Moonika
