This is a family-friendly, luxury accommodation requiring respectful behavior. All group members, except for accompanying family, must be at least 30 years old. There is no smoking. Quiet hours between 10pm and 8am are enforced. Behavior negatively impacting the neighborhood will result in fines and/or eviction.

This bright 3-level townhome has skin-in/out access, a fireplace and a private outdoor hot tub looking out into a forest. It’s very peaceful.

Location
Mountain Star is at the top of Painted Cliff Road in the Blackcomb Benchlands. It’s a 4-minute drive up from the base of Blackcomb (a 20-minute walk) and 6-minute drive from the base of Whistler. The free Whistler village shuttle pick-up and drop-off location is conveniently located right at the foot of the complex driveway.
Ski Access
Walk about 200 meters through the complex, cross Painted Cliff Road and you’ll see a sign, “Mountain Access” to the right of the Blackcomb Springs Suites Resort. That short ski trail takes you to the Lower Cruiser which leads you to the base of Blackcomb. At the end of the day, veer right off Lower Cruiser and a ski trail takes you right to the Mountain Star Complex.

Complimentary concierge services. We’ll answer questions and manage the details of your Whistler trip: airport transfers, private and group ski & snowboard lessons, lift passes, equipment rentals, activities, heli-skiing, dinner reservations and pre-arrival groceries.

This was a nice quiet condo at the uppermost corner of the Blackcomb developments adjacent to the Blackcomb Gondola, far away from all the noise of the village. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were all great and came with great amenities, although we didn't end up using the hot tub. There's some view of mountains from the upper floors.
This unit is one of the furthest ones out in the complex from the trail, so it's a few hundred yards away, but you can probably ski some of it, and it looks like you may be able to ski back to the unit through trails in the woods. We were here during summer so don't really know. There's a shuttle bus station very close by which is also very convenient.
The 3-story vertical layout makes for a lot of steps, and the upstairs bedroom can get pretty warm if you don't keep the windows on the second and third floor a little open to create airflow. However, these weren't major issues for us. Overall, it was a great place to stay.
