Whether you are 4 or 11, you will appreciate the layout, the distribution of rooms, the living space.
It is the ideal lodging for a stay with family or friends.
To this end, its total restoration (completed in 2016) meets two intentions:
- on the one hand, offer a large day room (50 m2), warm (2 exposed stone walls, wood on the ceiling, central island), well lit and very well equipped (pool table transformable into a table, TV and kitchen equipment high-end, audio column, DVD player, internet / wifi, etc.) where it is easy to live and wander, even many
- on the other hand, making cohabitation easy with a distribution of beds on 3 different levels: 2 bedrooms with 140 beds, shower room and separate WC on the ground floor, 2 bedrooms with 140 beds, bathroom water and separate WC upstairs and for children - who love this place - a mezzanine nestled high up under the roof, like a tent, with a 140 bed and a 90 bed, the day room occupying fully the intermediate level between ground floor and upper floor. Or 10/11 possible beds.
And to take advantage of the prestigious LESCUN circus which offers a remarkable panorama bordered by high peaks, its sumptuous landscapes and its colors, in the adjoining courtyard a table / benches for meals outside, in the private garden another table and relaxing chairs facing the mythical peaks of Ansabere, Anie, Billare,…
Starting point for multiple activities in all seasons (mountaineering / climbing, ski touring, downhill skiing in the Spanish resorts of Candanchù and Astun, some 20 km apart, cross-country skiing at the Somport border station, snow shoeing , paragliding and horse riding in Accous, hikes / walks, fishing in streams and lakes, discovery of pastoral life, etc.), LESCUN adds to the exceptional beauty of its site the charm of life in a typical mountain village where s ends the road. A village which, moreover, is well equipped (grocery, bread, 2 cafes / restaurant).

The property was spacious and the kitchen very well equipped with new, high spec appliances and loads of pots, pans, gadgets and crockery. Living and dining area was good for up to 8 adults max. Bedrooms in the basement were adequate but poorly ventilated with no windows. Location in village was great with stunning views from parking area which doubled as terrace and eating area shared with 2 other properties so outdoor eating wasn't very practical and so very disappointing for a summer holiday. A rather overgrown garden at a lower level was not really useable. Very tight access to parking even in a medium sized car. Worth mentioning it is opposite the church whose bells ring very loudly every 30 mins 24 hours a day. Not a problem for those sleeping in basement but took some getting used to in upstairs bedrooms. Property owner very friendly although no English spoken. Overall a high quality interior in a fantastic location for anyone wanting to walk and explore the Pyrenees. Spain only half an hour away too. Would definitely recommend the property with knowledge of the above..
