About this house rental
Ideal to meet friends or family, two houses of character, in a charming hamlet located in the heart of a magnificent site, adorned with hundred-year-old trees (14 ha of park, woods and meadows punctuated with large paths): a house with a beautiful large living room (49 m2) and a capacity of 10 people (with the sofa in the living room), completed by a small house with a capacity of 2 people and possibility of 2 additional beds on the mezzanine.
We live in a third home ourselves. The houses are not terraced: they are divided in the hamlet and each have a private part.
A large shared pool of 12 x 5 m is available to residents, from April to October (it is not in service the rest of the year). It can be either fully discovered or covered, depending on the weather. The temperature of the water is between 26 and 30 ° C.
In cold weather, houses are heated by a closed fireplace, a stove and a fireplace supplemented by electric heaters.
Access to the entire property is free (park, woods, meadows). The houses are distributed in the hamlet and each have a private part. The roads are more than 500 m and the calm is absolute. It is not uncommon to see deer, squirrels, hedgehogs, owls and many other birds depending on the season.
The park is planted with redwoods, blue cedars, Himalayan weeping pines, silver lime trees, purple ash trees, magnolias, walnut trees, chestnut trees, yew trees, ... The wood is planted with oaks, hornbeams, beeches, chestnuts, hazelnuts, ... Many paths allow to walk there.
The sky, the night, is absolutely beautiful. The property is also located near the observatory of the Astronomic Center of Vendée, which is installed there because of the absence of light pollution and a mild temperature throughout the year.
The banks of the Yon are directly accessible on foot from the hamlet: they offer a pleasant walk in all seasons and summer, they allow to refresh in the shade of trees, feet in the water of the river . Fishing is possible.
We also have the possibility to welcome your horses, in a large meadow with shelter. A beautiful training career 60x20 a round of longe a zone of preparation / shower are at disposal (box also if necessary). Many walks around.
Many hikes and bike rides possible from the property (especially the banks of the Yon)

Nearby: possibility of carriage rides and hiking with donkeys

The whole family have enjoyed our 2 week vacation in this beautiful location. The property met the needs of all the family and the pool was perfect.

If you need a perfect place to relax and enjoy your holiday look no further. Peace, quiet & beauty swimming pool to relax in and around. House well laid out, clean & beautifully decorated and kitchen well equip with all the necessary utensils needed. Lots of walks, views and beautiful scenery too. Took our border collies, bikes and we where made most welcome. Well worth a trip to the beach which was stunning. There was nothing else needed or required at this amazing house.
