This unit is a hotel style unit that is located in the heart of downtown historic St. Charles. It's located right across the street from a coffee shop, wine bar and the oldest local pub in St. Charles. It is just a few blocks away from all of the shopping and restaurants on Main St. The mansion was built in 1902 and still holds all of the charm from back then.
This is a private suite with it's entrance just up the stairs from the main front door of the mansion.

My Lady and myself were very comfortable we're very happy with the location and hope to be able to book the room again for next year's 4th of July

The room was very small with no place to sit other than a chair in the bathroom. Very clean though! The blinds in the bedroom are broken and don’t come down all the way so there was no privacy. There is no thermostat in the room and the room was freezing during the day and hot at night. I called and left a message with the owner about the temperature but got no response back. It was a little further than I expected from the historic downtown but an easy drive to downtown. The room is on the streetside and is very loud. Sounded like the window was open but it was not. All in all a good place to stay just needs a couple of fixes.

The property needs some attention. The sun shines in very bright through the windows in suite 301and it doesn't have room darkening blinds. The water temperature was warm at best so the shower was not a good experience. We had the handled turned all the way for hot. The bed sheets were dirty. We had to lay down towels since we arrived late after day of shopping in St. Charles and didn't want to deal with trying to reach the host at that hour. The bed was uncomfortable and we both with stiff backs.
