Step inside to find a cozy rock fireplace, perfect for warming up after a day of adventure. The cabin’s beautiful glass front opens up to a large deck, where you can relax in a 6-person hot tub while taking in the serene river views.
The master bedroom features a luxurious king-size bed, while the loft bedroom offers two queen-size beds. Both bedrooms boast huge windows, ideal for stargazing or enjoying the local scenery. The cabin’s log construction adds a rustic charm, complemented by hardwood floors throughout.
The fully equipped kitchen, complete with a dishwasher, ensures you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. But the true highlight of this cabin is the phenomenal views of the river and the mountains, providing a perfect backdrop for your getaway.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at The Mother Goose cabin in Luray, VA. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place was something special. The views alone are worth the trip—peaceful, scenic, and exactly what you want when you’re trying to unplug and recharge.The hot tub really made the experience. Whether we were relaxing after a day out or just sitting under the stars at night, it created the perfect setting for a quiet, memorable getaway. Everything about the property felt well thought out, comfortable, and inviting.We stayed here to celebrate our 20-year wedding anniversary, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. It gave us the kind of experience you hope for but don’t always find—private, beautiful, and genuinely relaxing.We’ll absolutely be coming back. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful escape with incredible views and a great atmosphere.
