BRAND NEW KITCHEN AND BATH AS OF 3/20/25!!! Located in Mt. Washington, this residence is your welcome mat to the best view that Pittsburgh has to offer. It is the perfect home for a family, group of friends or traveling professional.

You will find yourself just a half-block from the famous Mount Washington Overlook! This home is the perfect connection to the luxurious dining on Grandview Avenue, as well as the Shiloh Market District. There you will find everything from restaurants and pubs, to ice cream shop, bakery and grocery store.

This 3-bedroom / 4-bed residence is newly furnished, very clean, well decorated and can accommodate up to 8 people. All bedrooms feature very comfortable Queen-size Tempur-pedic mattresses and bedding. You will find the third-floor bedroom is perfect for guests that prefer a little extra privacy. The first floor offers a large, expandable couch-bed for your overnight comfort. Additional blankets and pillows are provided inside of the closet near the television/fireplace. The full bathroom is located in the hallway between the two second floor bedrooms. It is sure to be stocked each stay with your essential fresh towels, soaps and shampoos.

The first floor will provide you with a kitchen, living room, dining room, as well as a large walk-out deck. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of your basic kitchen needs. Feel free to stock up the stainless steel fridge and prepare to cook your favorite meal. The living room provides the perfect place to kick back and relax. You can enjoy watching your favorite sporting event or classic movie on our brand new 55" 4K LG Smart TV. If you have business to attend to, you can set down at our office desk that is equipped with ultra-fast high speed internet. The fully-furnished private deck is a fan favorite in the warmer months. It’s a great place to enjoy drinks and good ole’ fashioned bbq on our Weber Grille. There is an electronic code lock on the side-door entrance. Feel free to come and go as you please!

If you are lucky to be staying here during one of Pittsburgh's many firework displays, there is no better place to soak in the sights than Grandview Avenue.

Parking is available! You will be provided 1 parking pass for on-street parking next to the house. If you have additional vehicles, there is very accessible, free, street parking.

Our long term guests are welcome to use the washer and dryer in the basement. The basement will be closed off to our short term guests.

From the start, Tony was incredibly responsive. When we first started looking to book a place for my daughter’s graduation from the University of Pittsburgh, we were concerned with our options because the graduation weekend also coincided with the marathon. We wanted to stay in the Mount Washington area and it's proxmity to Oakland. It was a gorgeous area with spectacular views of the entire city. It's nearby some of the top restaurants in Pittsburgh and walkable so some cool sites. The house was spotless. We enjoyed our stay. It is three floors, which wasn't initially clear to me. Fortunatly, since we brought my MIL, she was able to climb the first set of stairs. We put my son on the top floor, accessible by another flight. Tony could not have been nicer.

We booked this spot as a place to stay with some old college friends in town for a concert. It was the perfect landing spot for the weekend, and we took full advantage of the deck, bbq, comfortable beds, and well-equipped kitchen. Everything was super clean and easy to manage, and we really enjoyed the neighborhood too. We could walk easily to a grocery store, places to get breakfast or drinks and dinner. The view just a half block from the house is great, and you can walk down the street a few blocks and jump on the incline to get a lift down to the river. Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay in Mount Washington. It was a cool, historical home, but with modern updates throughout, including new renovations in the kitchen and bathroom. The property was clean and comfortable, conveniently located near restaurants and museums, and just steps away from an amazing view of downtown. The property owner, Tony, was very responsive to all our needs and questions. Would definitely stay there again!

This property was perfect. It was a great location- close to the incline and scenic overlook, walking distance to a wonderful bakery and coffee shop! We stayed in this property 3 nights during Thanksgiving week. Lovely house, very clean and well-maintained with everything we needed in the kitchen, bathrooms, etc. Well heated and cozy beds; the house easily accommodated our family of four. The property hosts had great communication and check-in process was smooth. Just a short stroll up the street is the Grand Overlook with an amazing view of Pittsburgh, and then an easy, scenic walk to a street of shops and restaurants, a grocery store and a delicious pizza place. The neighborhood is very peaceful. I wish we could have stayed longer; we'll definately book again!

This was our second stay at this house and we loved it just as much as the first. You can’t beat the location- it is 1 block from the overlook with amazing early morning and evening views. It is a very short walk to Shiloh street for great restaurants and bars We recommend the coffee shop, Gordo’s tacos and Eggs and More. The house was perfect for our groups visit for Family Weekend at Pitt. Comfortable, clean, parking right at front, and easy access to the stadium, downtown and campus. We will be back again next year!

We really enjoyed the location in Mt. Washington area and everything was in walking distance to all amenities. The property was cute and had everything we needed for week stay . I would work on bedrooms doors for making knobs work / need one more bathroom for showers. I recommend staying here for large family

My sister and I were going to Pittsburgh for a family reunion and we found out that the house we grew up in is now a VRBO. So, of COURSE, we booked it! The house is just lovely and has many improvements. Our beds were quite comfortable and the kitchen is stocked nicely. We ate many meals on the deck outside - which didn't exist when we lived there. The house is in a GREAT location. Mt. Washington is centrally located to get to nearly all Pittsburgh sites of interest with only about a 20 minute drive. There are a number of really good restaurants in walking distance and you're only about 150 feet away from the gorgeous view of the city from Grandview Ave. Tony was exceptionally responsive to our texts. Very good host. We'll stay again for our next reunion!

Comfortable property close to everything…walk within the neighborhood for coffee shops, restaurants or just a great view of the city. Easy drive to the city for all Pittsburgh had to offer. Wonderful way to spend time with our teenage kids and their friends before school starts up again. Property owners are excellent communicators…such a great transaction…felt as if we stayed in a property and wined by family or close friend.

The hosts and house were wonderful. Tony was very responsive and easy to reach. We loved sitting on the deck and drinking our coffee in the morning. Our only issue, and this is out of the owners’ control, is the motorcycle and “hotrod” noise lasting to 3-4 AM. Parking on Saturday night was an issue but Tony was easy to reach and we were able to get our questions resolved. We give the property and owners a 5. The behaviors of others - not so much

We had a fabulous stay during our visit to Pittsburgh. The view of the fireworks and the city one block away was unforgettable. The house was spacious and clean and even though we didn’t do a lot of cooking the kitchen was well stocked. There is a great deck for morning coffee or evening cocktails. There is a cute neighborhood area about three blocks away with food and ice cream. Downtown was an easy drive or Ride-share and you are very near an Incline. The only issue was the revving engines and motorcycles at night on Grandview. Otherwise the home was comfortable, quiet and peaceful. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We had a lovely stay! Hosts communicated well and check in was easy. The viewpoint was walking distance from the location, so it was wonderful to walk around the area and take in the view. Pittsburgh is a beautiful city, and Mount Washington is a great place to enjoy the sights. It’s close enough to easily drive in and out of the city as well. Would recommend

Couldn’t have asked for a better property to stay at in Pittsburgh. Some friends and I went for the Steelers game for a long weekend. From start to finish the residence exceeded our expectations. Furthermore the views of the city from the overlooks 50 steps away is unbelievable. Lots to do on Shiloh Street a couple blocks down and the incline to get down to the city is right around the corner. I will definitely be returning here with family and friends in the future.

I took my wife and adult children to my hometown to attend their first Steelers game in Pittsburgh. The views are unbeatable and the incredible restaurants and shops are the Mom and Pop shops you can’t find anymore. We loved it! The only downside was the late night/early morning drag racing that sounded like a Fast & Furious movie.
