Short 1.5-block walk to top side of Stockyards. Rustic & fully remodeled 1920’s, Cowboy themed guest house, w/vaulted & beamed ceilings. 2 BR, 1 bath, +queen sofa futon w/ 8” mattress….(comfortably sleeps up to 6).
Privately situated behind the main house, in a well lit, quiet & secure gated back section of the property. Secured, off-street parking for 2-vehicles
Large farmhouse style covered front porch, as well as private, shaded & peaceful back deck with BBQ Grill. Fully applianced and appointed kitchen.

Also there’s a little convenience store on the corner, 5 doors down!

Guests enter front sidewalk gate (combo padlock). Then unlock driveway padlock (combo padlock), to enter property. Drive to back and park in designated parking spot on back right, next to the cabin. One vehicle if a truck. 2 (1 behind the other) if small to midsized car.
Other things to note
PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN ENTRY DRIVE ALONG SIDE FRONT HOUSE, as it could block in/out other front house guests. Or coordinate with front guests if you would like

Mostly all Stockyards parking charges $15 . If you don't want to walk the short distance, or weather isn't cooperating, a $6 or $7 Uber ride will get you there in no time...!
Note: As I do with all our vacation rentals, I have personally stayed at this property 6 or 7 times, before listing it, and have walked back and forth to the stockyards everytime....during the daytime, early evening, and late night coming
back. I have walked by myself and with others, as have many of our Lady guests. I can tell you that its an easy, and safe walk, with street lights.

Visited the Stockyards, and enjoyed the local shops. Had a really nice time, and this place was perfect. Easy walk to everything!

Owner was very responsive, property was exactly as described. Walking distance to the stockyards was so convenient, ate at a local Mexican restaurant around the corner and the food was great!

Pros- close to stockyard district. 3 block walk. - lots of tv channels- good amenities- outside porch/deck niceCons- very small cold bathroom. No where to set anything. - Floor always cold. - bed in room by bathroom is very high and uncomfortable. Mattress needs to be replaced - near airport and train tracks so that needs to be considered- no dish cloth - furniture in living room is tired and uncomfortable.
