About this house rental

Hidden Jewell. The name says it all! This home is definitely a jewel and sits in the Canyon Oaks subdivision. Nestled into the side of a hill this house has an amazing outdoor pool area. With a large covered porch and comfortable seating this house is all you need to enjoy your time away from home. The home sleeps 16 and is a four bedroom and three bath home with a half bath outside. It has an open concept kitchen and living room with doors that open up to the outdoor pool area. This home does not have a heated hot tub.

This home comes with a parking pass for river access. It is about a 100 yard walk from parking to Seven Bluff Crossing. You can drop your stuff by the river and then go park.

The house is just as pictured online. Our group of 10 enjoyed the house, pool and location. The Frio River is flowing at the 7 bluff crossing and the access to the gated parking there was great!We had to call property manager while we were there and she was quick to respond to our questions.

This was overall a great stay. we had a couple of issues with not recieving a check in email but was easily cleared up with a phone call and had some breakers that tripped but again with a phone call they responded quickly. The only negative i have about the property is that there was no stock of consumables in the kitchen such as seasonings,foil,etc. I know this is not required i have just never rented a VRBO that had nthing not even salt and pepper.

We take an annual trip to Frio and I can say everyone enjoyed our time at the Hidden Jewel this year. The house was clean, the layout worked for each small family (3) & the pool was very nice & clean. We highly recommend this rental house.

We were 4 couples who all skied together from '86 til just years ago. We've all stayed in touch & 5 out of the 8 of celebrated our BDs in October. Had a great time reminiscing & catching up. The pool was a bit too cold for most of us during the day & wished the hot tub was accessible for the cooler nights. Sat around the fire one night & made s'mores. All of us love the Hill Country so this place was great.

My family and I had a wonderful time at the Hidden Jewell! The house is beautiful and very spacious. The pool and outside patio is a perfect place to hang out when not at the river. I had a few questions while we were there, I made a phone call and they were very helpful with answering my questions. We will definitely be back!

Home felt secluded and we spent much of our time playing in the swimming pool. While the young adults were at the river, I stayed behind and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. During that time, I enjoyed viewing lots of deer and birds that wandered close.

Had everything we needed as we added linen service to have a no hassle stay. River was refreshing, a little packed in swimming holes since there wasn't much floating happening, as expected. Over all could never complain about getting to be in the Frio!!
