After years traveling the world and designing some of Guatemala’s most iconic interior spaces, Corina set out to share her luxe beach villa with the world for them to discover Monterrico’s magic and the world through her eyes.
The property itself is a whole experience to feed the soul — the rooms are designed to delight, gardens that inspire leisure, spacious and eclectic interiors for gathering and creating unforgettable memories. All this lying beachfront to the mesmerizing Pacific Ocean.
Monterrico’s iconic black sand beaches and deep blue ocean set the backdrop to a tropical destination for both weekenders and adventure seekers. Relax by the beach or explore the picturesque town with colorful shops, restaurants and bars with live music as well as local markets. A unique adventure awaits and we are here to create it with you. Casa Cori Cori offers in-house bespoke culinary, wellness and adventure experiences. From intimate dinner parties to unique adventures in Monterrico’s top destinations, our team can plan a vacation tailored to your needs before you arrive. Delight the senses with oceanfront breakfasts, lazy hammock afternoons, natural adventures and our wellness programs.

Kindly note:
- Pets: We allow dogs (2) smaller than 30lbs. Please note that the property is not fenced and your pet would have to be under your watch for they can run away or face stray dogs passing by. Ask for more info & fees for pets heavier than 30lbs.
- Private Events: You must apply in advance if you wish to use the property for private events, weddings, retreats or marketing purposes.
- Smoking: NO smoking inside of the house or El Rancho area, thatch roof is highly flammable. Smoking is allowed in garden area ONLY.
- Housekeeping: Daily housekeeping is provided for the bedroom and bathroom areas.
For a more personalized experience you can hire Joel and Lily to be at your service from 8am to 7pm. They offer an amazing local cuisine experience; will gladly help you keep common areas clean and assist you while you relax. This would require a minimum tip of USD$20 + meals per day.

The main house is huge and very pleasant. The kitchen is very spacious with plenty of counter space and an ample isle. The living room is the perfect place to gather at the end of the day. Sitting on the comfortable sofas we played cards and games. The bathrooms are big and were very clean. The beds are comfortable and they were made with fresh white linens. All the bedrooms are equipped with efficient air conditioning units. But our favorite area was the outdoors with its fantastic pool: large, crystalline and with a perfect view of the sea. The lush tropical plants. We loved the huge thatched-roof pavilion next to the pool, furnished with a large dining table for 12. We really enjoyed the built-in grill in the kitchen counter.Of course the house is not perfect. The drawers under the kitchen counter need some attention. The ceiling fans were too slow. There is only one TV in the main bedroom, not a big deal for our group though. For those who can't stand a cold shower, even in the tropics, there is only one bathroom with hot water (it wasn't a problem for us as the water was pleasantly warm).All in all, we had a terrific time in casa Cori Cori. We highly recommend it. We definitely will reserve it again.And our host was easy to reach, very kind and friendly.

The house is excellent! Beautiful design, right next to the beach, lovely garden, a great lounge area, next to the pool and beach where we spent most of our time. The only feedback is that the kitchen needs renovation. It is very run-down.

The outdoor areas were beautiful. The inside was another story, we had leaks in the kitchen, leak in the kids bedroom, bats getting in to the kids room. Only the bedrooms have AC, none of the common areas do (as they are open to the outside) and only the master bedroom has hot water.
