Welcome to Misty Blue!! Historic, serene cottage in the heart of Chincoteague Island! This beautiful three bedroom cottage sleeps 8-10 comfortably but maintains all the charm of cozy island living. Walking distance to most shops, restaurants, artisan and farmer's markets, movie theater, Island Pony, and more. Outdoor fireplace, fenced yard for your smaller fur babies, parking to accommodate 4-5 vehicles, linens, bedding, towels, and a well- equipped kitchen are just some of the amenities you will enjoy at Misty Blue. Pet friendly! NO SMOKING ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY. STRICTLY ENFORCED.
Property is NOT child or baby-proof in ANY way. There are four steps leading to the front door, as well as stairs leading to the bedrooms. There are NO first floor bedrooms or showers, however, there is a pull out queen sleeper and a pull out twin sleeper both on the first level. There is a working wood pellet stove available for your use on the cooler nights. Owner is not responsible for any accidents, injury, or death.

My Service Dog Javier and I enjoyed our stay at Misty Blue. The house was lovely, with cool artistic touches throughout. I love older homes, and this one has been very well maintained.Although I did not cook in the kitchen, it was well supplied with everything one might need. The house is located in a great area and I walked everywhere.

Truly lovely place with fun bedroom decor and a rustic beachy vibe. The I closed fenced in area was great for the dog. Clean and nice and the host was supper accommodating and willing to work with us. Bonus - no extensive complicated checkout list. So lovely.

Our Host was very communicative and positive. The home was as advertised and spacious. It is great location to fresh produce daily and mid week & weekend farmers market with live music. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone traveling to Chincoteague!
