This condominium is 1BR/1BA ground-level property at the beachfront Mayan Princess Resort! Walk just minutes to the beach via a dedicated boardwalk or join in on all the pool side amenities. Interior highlights include an in-unit washer/dryer, a new kitchen, and a privacy master suite. Drive 9 minutes north or south for a plethora of dining options and convenient amenities in Port Aransas or Corpus Christi. Mustang Island State Park is just 3.8 miles away.

There is a dining table for 4 with bar stools at the kitchen bar. All stainless appliances with Full size refrigerator, dishwasher, undercounter ice maker, microwave, compact oven with cooktop, and farmhouse style sink. All custom cabinetry and granite counter tops.
Bedroom/Bathroom
The master bedroom has a king size bed, large walk in shower, and a long vanity with two sink basins.
There is NOT a television in the bedroom.

I loved the decor! So cute and nicely decorated. So close to the beach. Right out the back door it was a two minute walk to the water (even less to the pool!) Very basically stocked, so bring everything (salt, extra garbage bags, paper towels, etc.) Pools were warm and clean. It was a 12 minute drive to town, but there really isn’t much near the actual condos, plan accordingly. Only real complaint was lack of communication from host. When I reached out asking about check in, I was rudely told that I had already viewed the info (I had not), and I could just ask the front desk (I didn’t realize there was a front desk). Other than rude communication, the place itself is an awesome close stay to the beach.

Hot water never got but lukewarm as obviously Mayan Princess lacks circulating hot water system.
Toilet ran and though reported not corrected.

Let me start off by saying this was a great place, location, beach, and weather. Our experience overall was so positive that we have already said that we would come back the same 4 day weekend next year.
Now, the not so good.......
Our unit had HORRIFIC ant problems. Every single time I walked by the kitchen I killed 30-50 ants on the countertops. We could not find out where they were coming from, but there was also not a spare cabinet to put up our food and drinks, so we move everthing to the dinner table and tried to seal it the best way possible. Over 4 days I killed well over 1000 ants....not good.
The second problem was there was NO hot water. Apparently there is a boiler issue that handles the entire property, so no hot water for anyone. When I asked the front about it, they said it had been going on for a while. I asked if a while was 3 hours, 3 days, or 3 weeks. I was told, "not really sure" but it seems like this was a known problem. My frustration was NO ONE told us about this before or after booking. If you pay money, you expect a decent shower in 4 days time. To put this in perspective, the ocean in October was warmer than the shower got. It was cold. I do feel like I was kinda scammed on this and transparency could have been much improved. If I don't choose to book this time because of the lack of hot water, maybe you get me next time.
Ok, back to the positives for anyone considering this property. It is a great beach. It has a great walkway out directly to the beach. The pool area was clean and overall it was safe. It is a nice quiet place to relax and enjoy.
