The house was clean and lovely ocean views. It was a short walk to the shops and Malua Bay Beach and we loved being able to bring our pooch with us. The kitchen seemed well equipped and the layout and number of beds made it excellent for our family of 5, with a room to spare. Two opportunities for improvement would be to remove the extremely flaking paint in the downstairs bathroom which is in desperate need of a paint. Additionally, the house was also home to a large number of spiders, mostly Daddy Long-legs which caused my kids to be a bit anxious about sleeping in their rooms. There was also a very large cricket that freaked me out in the bathroom. I understand it’s a bit of a bush block, but you might consider fumigating the place.

The house has a huge balcony with an awesome view for whale watching. Set out of the bedrooms suited us perfectly. House is dated but serviceable . Living and dining areas upstairs small for the house. A few things would have helped with our stay - larger bin for kitchen, hose outside to clean up after the beach (particularly for our dog) and some repairs to the clothesline. Would stay here again for the view.
