* The cabin is located on the ridge of Shields Mountain. The main road to get there will be winding and narrow in places (still room for two cars to pass each other). While some may be a little nervous on their first drive up, they get used to it and agree that the view is well worth the drive!
* We're at the top of the mountain from where you get to enjoy the beautiful view. On average, it may take 10 minutes to get to the nearest supermarket/grocery store, so plan accordingly
* 4-wheel drive is NOT necessary, except maybe in icy conditions
★ PARKING ★
* 2 vehicle maximum
* We do not advise bringing a trailer behind your vehicle due to the narrow winding mountain roads and lack of space to park a long trailer/vehicle combo
★ CHECK-IN/OUT TIMES ★
* Check-in: any time after 4 pm on day of arrival
* Check-out: by 11 am of day of departure
* Quiet time: 10 pm-8 am
★ KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK ★
* All guests must be 25 years old or older (children with parents are allowed)
* 6-person maximum occupancy
* No pets (no exceptions). You will be charged $500 if you bring a pet
* No smoking of any kind inside the cabin (no exceptions)
* No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/acts of god/other things that are beyond our control.

* There’s a charcoal, park-style grill outside the back steps of the cabin. Please bring charcoal if you’re planning to use the grill. We do not provide charcoal.

If you're seeking a location that offers all the enchanting vibes of mountain living, complete with stunning vistas, yet is conveniently located just a 15-minute drive from town, this is the ideal place for you! The jetted indoor tub was a delightful addition, and there was ample room for my family of five. Everything functioned perfectly, and the check-in and check-out process was seamless. Whenever I had a question, the hosts were prompt in their responses. I even managed to extend our stay for an additional night at a discounted rate on the day of our arrival, thanks to available accommodations. I noticed some reviews mentioning the narrow and steep roads leading up to the cabin, which made me a bit anxious. However, after navigating the route a couple of times during the day, I found it to be fine. I recommend that anyone unfamiliar with mountain driving should arrive during daylight hours to get accustomed to the area. It was a breathtaking location, and we would certainly consider booking again. Plus, a lovely bonus is that you can enjoy the Dollywood fireworks from the balcony at 8:45!

This was a beautiful cabin, perfect for couples and families. Super close to Dollywood, Pigeon Forge and many amenities in the area. The host is spectacular and very attentive to our needs. We had a fantastic time!

I had a wonderful stay at this property. The home was clean, well-maintained, and exceeded my expectations—especially considering its location in the woods. I was pleasantly surprised that there were no insects or critters inside the house, which made for a very comfortable experience. I did notice one spider web in the master bathroom, but overall the place felt very clean.The beds were comfortable, and the home had all the essentials for a relaxing stay. The microwave was spotless and worked perfectly. However, the kitchen stove was in need of a deep cleaning. I had seen this mentioned in a previous review and was hoping it would have been addressed by now, but unfortunately, it was still in poor condition and I chose not to use it.One word of caution: I would not recommend driving up the mountain after dark. The road is quite narrow and winding. That said, the location was easy to find and definitely worth the effort once you arrive.Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this place, especially for those looking for a peaceful getaway in nature but yet close to the local attractions.
