With beach access just one minute away, you can hop on the available golf cart rental ($50 per stay) for a quick and easy ride to the sand and surf. Experience this beautifully landscaped, 100% fully furnished rental, with each room thoughtfully themed for your island oasis getaway.
This vacation home includes dishes, utensils, glassware, two grills, two refrigerators, Keurig coffee maker, bottled water and plenty of outdoor seating for everyone. The elevator is especially helpful for luggage, coolers, or groceries. Plus, an outdoor shower makes it easy to rinse off after a fun-filled beach day. A beach house isn’t complete without a full-sized washer and dryer, and this one also features a garage to store motorcycles or family bicycles during your stay.
Envision yourself in a rocking chair or porch swing overlooking the balcony enjoying an ice cold beverage and year-round sea breeze after a day of fishing. Did we mention the private boat ramp and fishing pier? FYI, some of the best fishing on the Island is found on the west side! I and four friends stayed here for 3 nights. There was a refrigerator downstairs, but we did not use it. It was warm when we arrived, so we just took everything upstairs. The kitchen upstairs had small appliances and cookware. There were plenty of dishes for our needs. The refrigeratorin the kitchen has ice cube trays, and the shelving on the refrigerator door had nothing to hold the things in the door. So that was somewhat inconvenient. The elevator lift worked good. And we used it every day because some of us have medical issues. We are all over 65 so the lift was appreciated. The neighborhood was quiet. The owner answered any questions that I had. I would definitely stay there again.

The location was perfect! With the golf cart we could easily cross the street to the beach or eat dinner at the West End Marina. The only thing I’d suggest is bring your own beach stuff, ie chairs, towels, things like that. There is a cooler and toys available though. Overall, we had a blast and would book again!

There is much to like. It’s close to the beach, nestled in a bustling community, with very popular restaurant and bar a four-minute drive away.
The beach is across a busy highway. House is not on beachside.
Seawall and town is 17 miles away. Plan accordingly.
The living space is small - apartment-sized. Two bedrooms, with a tiny connecting room to the master. No tv in any room except the living room, if that matters to you. Wouldn’t recommend more than 4 adults max. 3 was tight. No bottled water, as listing said. Water Dispenser in fridge almost empty.
The tiny, connecting room, as others said, does not have a door, but bed is discreetly behind a wall. The twin-sized day bed in it is appropriate for a child, not an adult.
The golf cart is a nice perk, but not strictly necessary, since there is a small parking lot at beach access with plenty of room to park a car. But fun!
We stayed only one night, and it was perfectly fine for such a short stay. Overall, enjoyed it.
However.. the house had a strong, musty/moldy odor when we l entered and didn’t go away. But it was clean.
There was no hot water, to speak of. It was lukewarm at best and didn’t last. Didn’t contact the host about it, since we stayed such a short time.
I could not get shower attachment in tub/bath combo to work.
The smoke alarm in the master bedroom was dismantled, left on top of the dresser, with wires dangling from the ceiling.
With more care for these details, I’d give it a higher score.
