The proximity to the lake is wonderful, but there are no screens on the porch and no windows operable throughout the house so we couldn't get fresh air in. Also concerned that there's no fire exit from the upstairs. The property is beautiful and could be even more so!

Great views and location. Lots of debris out front and chairs were filthy, along with windows. We cleared off debris, wiped down chairs and cleaned many of the windows. Broken handle on inside door to patio that I let owner know about immediately. He replied the 3rd time I texted saying thanks for letting him know. Enclosed front porch had many cobwebs and spiders. We still enjoyed sitting on patio catching up and looking at the lake. Fished off front and caught big catfish. Enjoyed our family time!

Spectacular location and the view was simply breathtaking! The house was extremely comfortable with all the necessary accommodations(except a crockpot:)). The owner was very quick to respond to my questions and even quicker to refund money after I took care of a household issue. The sound system in the house was very much appreciated and was on from 07:00 till 23:00 each night of our stay. Loved the portable fire ring and what a great way to sit by the lake with a fire to sit around. Friends are ready to return for another stay in the future!

We had a wonderful stay!! It was beautiful, clean, a wonderful host who answered quickly to questions and the location was stunning. The only complaint would be that we could not turn the air conditioner up. The downstairs bedroom was really cold.

This house was the perfect place for our whole family to catch up and spend time together. The home was spacious and clean and provided everything we needed. However, we spent most of our time on the back patio watching the water and sitting around the fire pit enjoying the amazing view. We had a wonderful time.

This home was perfect for our two families! Plenty of space, a large kitchen, and beautiful views of Lake Erie from the porch. It was a short, easy drive to cedar point, and is close enough to grocery stores and restaurants to feed the group. We would certainly stay here again!

Great stay. Had a great time! Property was as described and it was amazing being on the water. Only negatives were the lack of railings (none outside to water and outside deck) and no railing on the last 5 steps coming down from the second floor. The private beach area also is difficult to get to as the bottom step was > 3ft from the beach. We were traveling with a group that had 2 year olds to 85 year olds, so random safety concerns that mattered to us probably would not affect most groups. Would definitely recommend though and still give the whole property 5 stars as a whole!

This property was perfect for our group of eight ladies from Cincinnati, Ohio, We loved the location and being right on the lake. The views were wonderful and the home was beautiful as well. We loved having three full-size bathrooms and the kitchen was fabulous. The large dining table was great for our group as we love to play cards and games and everyone could be seated together for meals. We will definitely come back if we’re ever in the area again and will recommend to friends and family.

Don’t even know where to begin! Beautiful spacious home, clean and gave great beach vibes. Had everything we needed and then some! Great location with full views of the lake from just about every room. Plenty to do and see in the area. Although it rained the 2nd day, we really enjoyed watching the waves roll in which made for a great day/night of home cooked meals, games, movies and quality time spent with great friends. Jonathon was the perfect host, very responsive and accommodating- no complaints at all! Looking forward to booking again each year with both family and friends. Thanks for the experience!

Had to keep a close eye on the kids due to the drop off to the lake but we knew that going in and the views made it worth it. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out. We had 12 adults and one toddler stay at this house for a week. We all agreed it was awesome! It was even better than described. The upstairs bedrooms had beautiful views of the lake. And it was nice to have a first floor bedroom for those who couldn't climb stairs easily. We made use of an air mattress they supplied for two of our group. There was so much room! The owner put a lot of thought into what is needed to make your stay great. There were power strips in all the bedrooms to plug up phones, etc that needed charging. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, paper goods, seasonings, etc. The refrigerator was large enough to hold all our food, which was important because we cooked big meals each night. There was room at the large table for all. The garage had all kinds of water toys and outdoor items we could use, including cushions for the outdoor chairs. The bathroom had soap, shampoos, hair dryers, and there were plenty of towels. Although there was no beach right at the house, beaches were very close by. And sitting out by the lake, or in the back in the shade was delightful. There are also fire pits in the front and back. And the wrap around enclosed airconditioned porch...Wow! It was one our favorite features! Some people slept out there, others painted or read out there, and some just relaxed looking at the lake. We also enjoyed the location. We travelled between Vermillion and Sandusky often to shop or grab a bite to eat. Grocery stores are very close.

The waterfront lake house was a wonderful place to get together with family and all the views out the windows of the lake were so calming. We had a couple of issues during our stay but Jonathan was responsive and they were all manageable - none took away from our time here. Having small children staying with us made it a bit more difficult to enjoy the outside spaces since there isn't much grass or any rail along the waters edge. Overall our families experience was fantastic.

We used this rental as a family reunion of siblings and spouses and it was perfect for that. There's plenty of room inside and outside to gather, relax, and enjoy the view. We also enjoyed the nearby park that included pickleball and tennis courts.
