My husband and I took our 2 kids and dogs to this cabin and it did not disappoint! We were snowed in and couldn’t access our vehicle. So if you’re going up during the winter months, definitely have an all terrain car! But the owners son came to our rescue everyday and brought us groceries and helped us carry all our luggage in his truck! Such a blessing! Even though we didn’t get to explore the area, there was plenty of things to do at the cabin! Kids sled down the hills, we walked all over the property and down to the lake and played countless games inside. Lots of memories were made and would definitely come back. Great trip!

Family had a great time! My wife enjoyed fresh eggs every morning from the chicken coop. This is what I consider a real cabin! not those resort style wannabes. The lake is a quick walk down the road. The neighbors or lack thereof is quiet. Honestly you will most likely feel like the loudest people there. The kiddo enjoyed walking around the local area taking photos of the scenery. It snowed our last day there and was a beautiful departure for our trip.

Very unique cabin. The decor is very cool. I love all the use of vines and tree branches in the home. However was not impressed with the river access. The only place to fish is right on the loading dock unless you dont mind risking breaking your neck to go up the bank which you only have a small cove with several obstacles in the water . If you play pool you cant the sticks are broken and no tips as well as the darts for the dart board and the stool which i discovered by sitting in it and it just collapsed under me and I am smaller person. And you should hope no one hits a ball off the table cause it may land on the person sitting on the couch downstairs and that hurts. I could never get the tv in the bedroom to work which by the way was like being at a boy scout camp. It a small room with all the beds squeezed in it. So plan for your group to basically be sleeping all together. No privacy at all. And as far as view there is none. The trees are grown up and all you see is a barn. There is plenty of wildlife we seen deer and small bear cub and the chickens I did like the kitchen and living room and porch but if you want to use the hot tub it does not have a cover so if its raining its not so relaxing. We didnt use the canoes but if it is summer i am sure you have to fight over them cause there is only two for all those cabins. I do recommend going to Johnson city to enjoy all it has to offer and the tri city flea market on Sundays. I enjoyed our stay but will not return.
