About this apartment rental
Our 3 BR/2 Bath condo has it all! Steam shower, 6 ft soaking tub with rain faucet shower head. Travertine marble bathroom and vanity with dual sinks. Stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and 6 burner stove adorn this chef's kitchen. Upper and lower level living areas include reclining sectional sofas, wall mounted large screen TV's with surround sound an and electric fireplace **NEW - We recently purchased a 65 inch smart TV for our downstairs den** Sleeping accommodations for up to 8 people. 2 upstairs bedrooms each with queen bed. Lower level master bedroom with king bed, and living area that sleeps an additional 2 guests. 2 outdoor decks with a view of the Minerals Golf Course. Enjoy Mountain Creek Water Park or a round of golf at one of the several award winning courses. This place has it all!
COVID and Minerals Resort:
Minerals resort is a luxury hotel that is a half mile from our condo. Prior to the pandemic, they allowed day pass purchasing for day visitors. Due to covid, they have changed the way their resort operates and will not be allowing guest passes or visitors during this time, only hotel guests may use their facility now.
The small great gorge community pool is not available either, only for residents now due to covid. This is a very uncertain time for travel, so we suggest reaching out to the activities you'd like to engage in (like spas, waterpark, mountain biking etc) ahead of travel prior to booking and setting up back up plans for activities that can be done in this phase.
For amazing outdoor activities we suggest checking out some of our incredible lakes and national parks in the area. We have a few gorgeous lakes such as wawayanda, high point, and highland lakes. Wawayanda and high point have swimming areas (contact for covid updates) and Greenwood lake is also beautiful. Both Wawayanda and Greenwood lake have kayak rentals (contact them for latest updates). We also are near the appalachian trail, beautiful farms like pennings, and Dingman Falls - a stunning waterfall - is roughly a half hour away. In our community we have a golf course.

Our Condo is a TOP PICK for WEDDINGS (We frequently host the family of the bride/groom for Minerals, Grand Cascades, Mountain Top and Ballyowen Weddings). Our wedding party guests find the condo to be warm, luxurious, spacious, clean, with tons of amenities to make a wedding weekend with family as special as possible. Since our unit has a ground floor entrance, and not many steps to the first floor - it's great pick for those with elderly relatives (It is not a wheelchair accessible). We also have a carpeted regular staircase (as opposed to a spiral staircase - which many of the other great gorge units have).
NOTE: We are pet friendly - a cleaning fee may be assessed per pet.

The location is beautiful. The condo was very spacious, great for snow activities. First time we ever had a bad experience with a rental. The host never responded to our messages , or concerns. The condo was not as described. The washer machine was broken, the coffee pot should have been replaced, it was so dirty, scaly with hard water stains. The condo was clean, but there were bottle caps under the sofa from the prior visitors and a very bad odor in the upstairs living room. Maybe the old sofas, I bought febreeze and covered them with sheets while we were there. Pots and pans should have been replaced. We where left an old moldy scrub daddy sponge to wash dishes, The nonstick pans were flaking. The temperature was 55 degrees one night, and just so cold the nights we slept there we had to go to sleep with our sweaters and socks. We didnt sleep there everyday plus we left early, I spent so much time searching for a good laundry mat it was ridiculous. Either the host needs a better agency, or they need to do better.
