The place was lovely, well decorated and laid out. The communication with the owners was smooth and very responsive. When we discovered the coffee maker was out of commission, the owner immediately door-dashed tons of coffee from Dunkin AND ordered a new keurig to the house. The house has a lot of old charm; some slanted floors and I noticed the hot and cold water was opposite of the labels in the shower. We also noticed that the tub faucet wasn't up to snuff and had to attempt to fill the tub from the showerhead for our baby's bath. We were so busy we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor space, but it looked so inviting! Great yard, comfy patio setup, even a BBQ. Would definitely stay here again! The location is perfect, close to walking paths on the lake, across the street from an Italian grocery store, walkable to several restaurants and cafes.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jillian‘s home! We walked to the Saturday morning farmers market, and especially loved the Italian market across the street. The place was actually larger than we thought from the photos, the kitchen was very well stocked with some fun quirky aspects, particularly the half door that allowed taking out the trash super easy. The only unexpected thing was that the half bath was downstairs. We enjoyed having our breakfast up on the rooftop patio, as well as a glass of wine in the evening. We will definitely keep this in mind the next time we’re in Milwaukee.

This is a great location for proximity to the many fine cafes and restaurants in the Bayview neighborhood of Milwaukee, including the iconic Groppi's Food Market which is just across the street. We used the house primarily as a place to sleep as we were visiting family in the area and spent the majority of our time in their homes. It was very clean and also child friendly (we had two children with us, ages 3 and 5) . The hostess was very friendly and accessible for any questions. Highly recommend.
