Private oasis in Rockford! 19 beds across 7 bedrooms (plus 2 opptional rental spaces of pool house and in-law quarters), 3-4 full baths, 3-4 half baths, hot tub, pool, pool house, & oversized living spaces--only 1 hour from Madison, WI, 90 minutes from Milwaukee & Chicago--you will have a unique getaway. Charming details, nooks, oversized deck, rose garden, fruit trees, massive garage/event space, 2 kitchens and 2 kitchenettes. Stay under the care of experienced Super Hosts. Memories are made here. Optional add-ons: Pool House, In-Law Quarters and 16-car garage for indoor sports / parking, etc.

- Pool House ('Bedroom #8'): $50 flat cleaning fee. Includes full kitchen, half bath, and two day-beds (NOTE: Pool house sink and bathroom water is not available mid-November to early April due to winterization of pipes to avoid freezing).
- In-Law Quarters: $100 / day. Includes queen bed, full bed, kitchenette, bathroom with shower, sofa, and small table in cozy wood-walled unit on the ground level connected to the main home through the attached two-car garage
- Detached, Heated 18-car Garage: $50 cleaning fee. Great space for indoor sports such as pickleball, etc.
(guests opting for optional add-ons will have a simple additional charge sent separate from booking via VRBO)

We came for a fun girl's trip and had a great time staying here and would definitely recommend it to anyone considering this property. The property was very clean, comfortable, and there is so much space and everyone had their own little slice of peace when needed. There was basically everything we needed for a fun and relaxing trip.Make sure you get the lay of that land on arrival, to find where everything is at and how to work everything. The kitchen is fully stocked and a cook's dream. If you have added on the pool house or in-law suite, make sure you check all the cabinets in each as well. The pool house has a ton of great cups to utilize at the pool and a some pool toys to use, but I would recommend maybe bringing a few of your own. Note - there is not AC in pool house, but there are ceiling fans and it was comfortable on a 85 degree day.Devin, our host was excellent—friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We ran into a couple of issues, but they were addressed right away and resolved quickly, which we really appreciated. It made a big difference knowing the host was attentive and genuinely cared about making sure we had a good experience, you cannot ask for anything more than that.Overall, we had a ton of fun and really enjoyed our stay. If you're looking for a clean, well-kept place with a host who is quick to help when needed, this is a great choice. We'd happily stay here again!

Overall, this is a spacious property that works well for large groups, but several areas need attention.The house has plenty of room to spread out, and the layout allows groups to gather comfortably while still offering space for quiet time. The kitchen is well equipped, there are multiple living areas, and amenities like the pool, hot tub, and game room were enjoyable for both kids and adults. The host was responsive and communicative; however, I would have preferred not to need so much communication throughout the stay.There were multiple issues that negatively impacted our weekend. As others noted, there aren’t enough bathrooms for the number of beds. One tub is heavily peeling & needs to be fixed. The WiFi was not working, which was especially frustrating since we were unable to stream or share family videos as planned.We also experienced lighting issues, particularly in the kitchen and the in‑law suite. Several lights were either not functioning or difficult to operate, creating unnecessary inconvenience.In addition, the grounds need significant upkeep. While the property itself is lovely, the landscaping was very overgrown upon arrival, which made a poor first impression.This home has strong potential, but dealing with these issues during our stay was disappointing and took time away from our weekend. After asking, we were provided a very small refund for the inconvenience, which did not feel proportional to the disruptions.

The property is well located and the grounds are beautiful! The house is okay. For the amount of beds upstairs for sleeping there is only 1 bathroom. The number of overnight guests does not match well with the amount of showers. The house was warm and sometimes uncomfortable at night for sleeping. We never used the pool or downstairs.
