Papakea D309 is a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo featuring amenities such as an ocean view, a washer/dryer, and air-conditioning. Located on the third floor, this condo can comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests with a Queen bed in the bedroom and a Queen sleeper sofa in the main living area. The open-concept living room features Hawaiian-theme furniture with tropical decorations and a large flat-screen TV. A window A/C and ceiling fan are equipped in the living room to help stay cool.
Retreat to the serene bedroom with a Queen-size bed and a ceiling fan. The updated bathroom boasts a large vanity space and a walk in shower. Pack light and take advantage of the unit's washer and dryer for added convenience. Unwind on the private lanai with views of the Pacific Ocean as the back drop. Dine al fresco on the lanai while enjoying the view with a dining table for 2. A dining table for 4 is equipped in the unit so you may enjoy the view from inside with large sliding doors and windows. The remodeled kitchen is fully equipped with granite countertops and full-size appliances. Ample counterspace makes meal prepping a breeze and provides additional counter seating for 2.
Papakea Resort offers lush tropical landscaping, koi lagoon ponds, oceanfront saltwater pools, hot tubs, shuffleboards, golf greens, pickleball, and tennis courts! It is located just North of the famous Ka'anapali Beach. Walk to nearby local shops, cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores. It is a quick drive to Whalers Village and many of Maui's top beaches like Kaanapali, Napili Bay, and Kapalua Bay.

Parking is free for one vehicle; additional vehicles are $5/day. This fee is collected by the Resort's Front Desk staff upon arrival.

Papakea Resort is completing property improvement projects. Guests should expect construction noise during daytime working hours. Dates and work areas are subject to change due to weather, tides, or field conditions. Please contact our office for complete details on the following resort improvement projects.
• Walkway Coating Project. Dates August–November 2026. Scope of work: Remove existing traffic coating, concrete repair and resurface preparation (including grinding), application of multi-coat traffic coasting system (each layer requires extended drying time). Work hours are 8am to 5pm Mon-Fri. During demolition, preparation, and repair work, walkways and the elevator will remain open to foot traffic. Occupants should expect construction noise and dust particularly during the grinding activities. During the walkway coating and drying time, AOAO staff will be stationed on the lanai side of the building to assist with screened access to occupied condos as the entry door will not be accessible. Work progression: Work will begin at the A building and work in building letter progression. Work on the D Bldg is slated for 9/1-9/11/2026.
• Phase I Seawall Repair Project. Dates August 10-September 2026. Scope of work: Replace rocks along the ocean side of the seawall and backfill the sinkholes that have developed adjacent to the seawall. General Construction work hours 8am to 5pm Mon-Fri. Ocean-Side Rock Restoration 6am to 7pm Mon-Fri depending on daily tide conditions. Work progression: Work will begin at the Lanai ocean side stairs area. Work will then progress from North to South, which is subject to change. Rock stacking will begin where ocean and beach conditions allow.

The communication between Papakea Resort and My Perfect Stays could be improved as we received different instructions for unit access and WiFi. The unit is next to the parking lot and reception, which made it loud, especially in the main bedroom. The amenities were nice, with comfortable beds and seating, although the kitchen knives were very beat up and in need of replacing. I also think the “shaving” of two hours off normal check-in and check-out times (4pm/10am) with no flexibility wasn’t very nice, especially given that Maui will often have flight changes due to weather. I will consider future stays at Papakea, but not through My Perfect Stays, and in a different unit.
