About this apartment rental

Private individual rents a superb, comfortable 2-room apartment with a balcony, listed by the Savoie and Les Arcs 1800 Tourist Offices, for summer/winter.
The residence is located in the heart of the Charvet shopping district, just across from the Bernard Taillefer Convention Center.
Superb, breathtaking views of the valley overlooked by Mont Blanc.
Pure air, peace and quiet, a guaranteed change of scenery in a magnificent setting.
Arc 1800 is a family-friendly, sporty, active, and pedestrian resort for the safety of your children.
Comfortable equipment:
LCD TV on a swivel wall mount - Dishwasher - Refrigerator/freezer - Oven - 2 electric hotplates - Microwave - Electric coffee maker - Toaster - Kettle.
The fondue and raclette sets are available free of charge from the cheese shop to the right of the bakery, 100 meters from the residence. Our apartment, located on the 8th floor of 11, is on the quiet side of the building, away from nightlife and bars and nightclubs.
2 beds are available in the living room, with the option of a queen-size bed (160x190cm). A kit for attaching the two bed bases is provided in the apartment. A 160x190cm fitted sheet will be required.
2 bunk beds are located in the sleeping alcove. The top bunk is not suitable for children under 6; they must use the pull-out bed provided under the first bed.The two rooms are separated in the evening by a sliding door and a blackout curtain in the mountain corner, thus preserving everyone's privacy.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort (check with the Tourist Office), but reception is very limited in the apartment. However, you'll have excellent internet access on all your PCs or tablets by sharing your smartphone's connection, with excellent 4G and 5G reception in the apartment.
The water sports center is 400m away.
A doctor's office is located in the residence lobby.
Reception and key collection are available on site, so you can book a last-minute or even same-day rental, depending on availability.
Upon arrival, you will be required to provide the person who will hand you your keys with a €100 cleaning deposit. You can ask them to do the final cleaning for you upon your departure, in which case you will pay them €70 directly.
If you wish to leave the apartment very early on Saturday or the day before, your deposit will be returned to you by mail or bank transfer after the inventory has been completed.
A damage and material deposit is collected directly by Abritel/VRBO.

Thanks very much for a wonderful stay. It was exactly what the advert described. Pierre was very helpful and informative and sent us all the information we needed prior to the trip. It was the perfect location for us with everything we needed close by - shops, restaurants, bars and the ski lifts. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Mr Bonicel canceled the reservation a few days before our trip. At first he was very nice and accepted the request at the time. Later, he sent an email confirming the reservation and where it was indicated that it was already paid. Days later we received two mails, one told us that we were reimbursed the rent and in another the trust. We did not understand why the refund was due and we wrote him to ask what happened. He replied that he had rented it to someone else. I wrote to him three times asking how it was possible that he had canceled the reservation if everything was correct and we had already paid and never answered. We have felt cheated.

We liked absolutely everything about this apartment (ok, small comment at the end :) ). Photos on the web-site fully correspond to what we found in the apartment. Well-equipped, had everything - including a hairdryer, an iron, even a device for racklet! Microwave, fridge, dishwasher. Clean, comfortable. Warm enough. Has enough space for 4 skies in the entrance hall of the apartment itself, so no issues. Very comfortable and enough of space for 4 adult people. Can be used for 5 if needed (one bed can be 'stretched' side-wise), but will be a bit crowded, I believe. Nice balcony (could be nice to sit in summer with a view on Mont Blanc, but we were in winter, skiing al the day). Ski-in/ski-out! Many shops on the ground floor of the building. Bars/restaurant - the same building (no noise at all, as the windows go to the opposite side, and it's on a high floor), Nice view on Mont Blanc - every day! The apartment is near Charvet bus stop of Arcs 1800 (50 meters), from where one can easily go to Arcs 1600 to get funicular down to Bourg Saint Morits. 5 minutes walk to the second village of Arcs 1800 (Villards), but they are actually smoothly connected to each other, so not an issue at all. Internet: 15 euro for the whole week (from the Arcs-wide internet provided) - a pure bargain, nothing to compalin! Decent (but not particularly fast) connection, was fully enough for us. One small issue: no English channels at all on TV. But, it seems, it is a genearal issue for many private-owned apartments. (though, we speak some French, so it was not actually an issue for us at all). Overall - highly recommended! Special thanks to the owners - Pierre. Though we haven't met Pierre in person and communicated only by e-mail, but everything was nicely organized from his side, we easily found the keys upon arrival. All (and honest) information was provided in advance, thanks! Will definitely use it again if we go back to Arcs! (will do, of course :) )
