About this villa rental
When arriving at Te Kahu, you are greeted with the spectacular coastal vista! In the distance, you can see the Poor Knight Islands floating on the horizon and the Tutukaka headland vying for attention to the North… the blue South Pacific, a sparkling jewel.
Te Kahu is centrally located on a very spectacular part of the Northland coastline. With Whangarei Heads to the South and the coastal hamlet of Pataua to the north. There are endless beaches, hikes, and walks to explore. A nature lovers' paradise, with New Zealand’s warmest waters and extended summer.
Whangarei Heads feature jagged exotic peaks, covered in lush subtropical forest. Furthermore, deserted white sand beaches stretch into the distance. Clear clean waters of the Pacific are all hallmarks of the area.
Te Kahu lends itself perfectly as a retreat for 2 or a place to enjoy with friends and family. There are large areas of both indoor and outdoor dining and a large Chef's kitchen at the heart of the west wing.
The three-bedroom home is open plan with contemporary design and furnishings. Three different deck areas as well as BBQ offer a great setting and some great outdoor times.

Te Kahu is a simple yet spectacular architectural in Taiharuru overlooking the hills on Whangarei Heads. Susanne and Paul were great communicators and helpful throughout the stay. The home is well equipped, comfortable and the view is to die for. Enjoy!

Everything was perfect! It’s hard to describe how beautiful the views are, but they are magical. We had 6 adults and had plenty of space for everyone. We would highly recommend this property!
