About this house rental
Welcome to The Sequoia House! Our spacious open floor plan 4 bedroom 2 bathroom home is located in a safe and highly desirable neighborhood in NW Visalia. We are conveniently located 40 miles to Sequoia National Park, 55 miles to Kings Canyon National Park, and a 2.5 hr drive to Yosemite. Downtown, shopping and restaurants are just minutes away. Our amenity rich house features 6 HDTVs with Roku, fast Wifi, a fully stocked kitchen, games, a gas grill and EV charging available (additional fee).
Our family friendly home is a 4/2 that has all the amenities to make this your home away from home. Kick back, grab a coffee, or tea, or decaf, or whatever floats your boat while you enjoy the 85" HDTV in the living room. You can stream your own personal Netflix (chilling is optional but recommended), HBO, Disney+, Hulu, and many more channels without the hassle of having to sign out when you leave.
If watching TV isn't your cup of tea, gather around the table to enjoy our variety of board games.
Want to get outside for some fresh air? Lounge in our shaded seating area, cook up some food on our gas bbq grill, and engage in some friendly competition with our outdoor lawn games - Giant Connect 4, Giant Jenga, and Corn Hole Toss (all stored in the shed on the side of the house).
Our bedrooms feature 1 King and 3 queens all with fully encased mattresses (Casper memory foam mattresses) and pillows so our beds are allergy friendly. Every bedroom also has black out curtains for a restful night's sleep. Each bedroom has a 55" HDTV equipped with Roku as well. The Den has a euro lounger that can sleep 1. We have air mattresses available upon request, please let us know before arrival.

- Free Parking is available on the driveway (2 spaces). If you are towing an RV or trailer, our home may not be ideal for you but our sister properties can easily accommodate your parking needs.
- Our neighborhood has some dogs so you may hear them bark from time to time. We like to imagine they're having a chat with their neighborhood friends :)
- Propane gas, EV Charging, and Garage access are available with an additional fee.
- We have a ring doorbell camera that records video and audio at the front door as well as a myQ Smart Garage Camera that records video and audio in the garage. There are no other cameras on site. We have some motion detectors that are synced to the central air system that are not recording devices.

Host was very communicative and responsive. There was trash by the door upon arrival and outside can was also full. The beds were comfortable and everything that was needed was present. The dishwasher was not anchored in properly so did fall forward a bit when loading it, I would also recommend leaving cleaning supplies to wipe down tables and counters for guest to access. Other than that stay met our needs and was great!

This home is spacious and very comfortable for a family. The hosts have thought of so many little extras that make the stay effortless and comfortable. The location was amazing for exploring the 3 National Parks in the area and afforded all the amenities we needed in the town of Visalia. We would absolutely stay here again!

Check in is at 4:00. We arrived at 3:00 after 11 hours of travel. The host let us in 45 minutes early for 20. Not great, but at that point I could live with it. The pictures on line look better than the house actually is. It is clean, but not that clean. If you don’t look closely, it’s fine. The beds were comfortable but noisy. If you are a light sleeper, look elsewhere. The neighbors have 2 dogs that bark constantly and there is a very loud highway right behind the house. You don’t see it, but you sure can hear it.
