Enjoy resort living in this two level condo with tremendous ocean and pool views from two balconies, and just steps from the beachfront pool and boardwalk access to the sand! Enjoy morning coffee while watching the sun come up over the ocean each morning, and a glass of wine during the nightly sunset colors reflected on the waves. Take the stairs down to the pool and the beautiful common grounds of the complex. A nearby boardwalk with a gazebo leads to the white sand of beautiful St. Augustine Beach!
Ocean Villas 23 features a fully stocked, modern kitchen. Relax in the spacious, open concept family room and dining area, and enjoy movies on the large screen TV. The entire living area looks out to the view of the beach! Just off the main hall, there is a full bathroom and laundry room, as well as a storage closet with beach supplies, including an umbrella, chairs, and beach wagon. A queen sized sofa bed in the living room provides extra sleeping space.
Upstairs, you will find two suites designed with guests in mind. The master bedroom is furnished with a king size bed and a large screen TV, and is attached to a brand new private bathroom with a double vanity and spacious walk in shower with a rain head. Step out onto the balcony from the master and enjoy beachside pool views. The second bedroom is furnished with a king size bed and large screen TV and attached private bath. Each of the bedrooms are outfitted with fresh, crisp linens, and bathrooms are supplied with soft towels and showering amenities. Throughout the condo, you will find a soft, beach theme, and modern conveniences.
Ocean Villas complex is ideally located within walking distance of the Golden Mile Beach strip with local beach and surf shops, restaurants, ice cream and coffee shops, and activities like putt-putt, and the Pier Park. You will find grocery stores where you can stock up for the week only two minutes' drive down the road. The complex is family oriented and is gated for extra security. Walkways boast manicured grounds and lead to two pools, a heated lagoon pool with surrounding boardwalk, and the beach pool, located just behind this unit. **PET POLICY: Only dogs are permitted, and must be approved by management PRIOR to booking. You must inquire with the number, weight, and breed to get approval before you book as some breed and size restrictions apply. A pet fee will be required upon approval. 2 dogs max allowed by the complex.

Violations can result in a $500 fee. *Decibel levels are monitored at this property to abide by city and county noise ordinances.

Overall, our experience was positive. The updated condo was nice with the faux hardwood floors, furniture and kitchen appliances. The kitchen especially had great touches with dishes, pots and pans and all the gadgets you needed. The walk to the beach was quite nice and easy. The grounds were well kept. I liked having the two balconies but they were dirty. Loved the extra striped towels.
Some of the challenge areas were these:
The fan on the AC never shut off and upstairs was very warm. Part of the problem was that there were hardly any vents upstairs. There were so many vents in the kitchen and den area and some were not even open. You could and should add vents upstairs.
There wasn't enough bathroom bars to hand your towels to dry (2nd bedroom there was none).
The one sink in the master bedroom was stopped up. The shower door in the master would not stay open when you needed it too.

Beds were comfy, beautifully designed home with new supplies. Only one suggestion, two washrags for two adults showering everyday for 6 days was insufficient by far.

This is my second time renting this condo and looking forward to returning in the near future. Amazing views from both balconies. Great location and easy to get to all must see attractions. The condo is spotless and equipped with all the essentials needed for a carefree vacation. Great communication from the host. Highly recommend!
