You will not be disappointed, love the atmosphere and the history of the lodging. Great location. Wonderful and kind hosts.

Took a long weekend to visit Maggie Valley for the first time. Decided to try one of these little rustic cabins and took a chance. Cabin #4 is a quant cabin by the creek, with rocking chairs to sit and enjoy. The property has a very nice care taker by the name of Ronnie. Ronnie is very pleasant to talk with, and to learn about the history of the area and the cabins. The description doesn’t say, but was assuming this was within walking distance of the restaurants and shopping, which it is but not safely. There are no sidewalks, so you walk along a two lane road about a half mile to get to the main road with the sidewalks and businesses. The cabin was having some a/c problems so Ronnie installed a window unit before we got there. The cabin stayed cool for the most part, but was a little on the noisy side in the bedroom where the a/c unit was located. As for the price, we thought was a little on the high side but was willing to give it a try for a couple nights. Overall it is rustic, small, and not very good cell signal or WiFi, but is clean, quiet, and nostalgic.
