Due to the location of the properties, smoking is strongly discouraged around the home and strictly prohibited in the home. Fireworks are prohibited at a Freshwater location for the safety of all persons in and around the property, even if it is legal in that city.
Fireplace: Yes, wood burning stove. Please bring your own wood.
Fire-pit: Yes. Please bring your own wood.
Fishing: Perch, Walleye, Pike, Small Mouth & Large Mouth Bass
Fishing License: A license is required to fish in Michigan.

Snowmobiles: a person (resident and nonresident) that operates a snowmobile in Michigan is required to purchase a snowmobile trail permit. It is valid for one year, which begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30 of the following year. State-designated trails are open Dec. 1-March 31 and grooming occurs when there is enough snow on the ground.

We had an absolutely amazing time. The house is incredible, the lake is amazing and the bunk house was an added bonus that my kids loved staying in! We will definitely be back!

Fantastic host who was very responsive and accommodating. Plenty of room for all our family and the optional bunkhouse was a great addition to the property for our large group. The enclosed porch was the perfect place to relax or eat a meal with the beautiful lake view. We had everything we needed including plenty of towels. Memorable trip for my family. Thanks!

This cottage is the perfect place for an upper Michigan vacation. The cottage is large with a spacious kitchen for preparing meals. It was clean and very comforting. Has a nice deck and fire pit to enjoy the lake view sunset. We enjoyed using the kayaks and the Blackstone griddle that were provided. The Host’s Nick & Berta were very accommodating and responded to messages quickly. I highly recommend this property and plan on staying here again.
